Typhon Pov
The overpowering smell of laboratory equipment filled my nose. My hands clustered weakly around an incredibly soft but clearly very strong fabric that I could not tear even using all my strength.
I opened my eyes desolately, admiring the all-white room littered with all sorts of technological machines..
I'm in a white room, I realize, or at least something like that. Good news, I was still alive. Well, it seemed that my SSJ status, it had been enough to fight evenly against Doomsday.
Trying to figure out what my condition was like. I took a breath, and pulled the thread once more, drawing the power of Oozaru's transformation into me. This time unlike the last few times, I had no fear that made me doubt my control.
Since I woke up, I felt completely different as if I was a completely different 'Entity' and that my body was finally under my absolute control. I still had the sense of discomfort but it was much more manageable than before.
It was as if I had been reborn....
No, it was better to say that I was resolved by adapting to what had killed me and came back stronger than before.
I could feel the slumbering power in my body increasing again and again as it bubbled up inside me, pushing against my bones and flesh, feeling more and more as if the power contained within me was too great for such a small body.
Finally I noticed a straitjacket around my body with a familiar green stone that did not allow me to use my true strength. Even worse news, I was captured.... But at least it was expected in a way.
Good news, my body did not seem to have any kind of injury or even any damage and I felt completely as if I could lift an entire planet, of course burp this when the stone in front of me will no longer be limited.
"Finally you are awake." That's when I noticed the figure standing at the front of the wall where I was sitting.... At least I was not chained while they were experimenting on me.
She, for the figure, is undoubtedly a woman, studying my with a relentless gaze through her electric blue eyes, her lips set in a firm, thin line of disapproval.
Dark hair falls like curls over her shoulders and a golden tiara sits firmly on the top of her head. Her complexion is vaguely Mediterranean, a way you yourself have been described before, and her features are sharp, undeniably attractive, yet equally cool, like a statue come to life.
If there was any doubt in my mind about the identity of this mysterious stranger, they are quickly banished by the sight of the golden lasso hanging around his side.
Wonder Woman, standing at my bedside, wore full battle armor and wore an expression cold enough to make hell freeze over. She was the nightmare of every villain and the fantasy of every single man on the planet bundled into one very messy package indeed.
An instinctive response, the response that usually gets me into very bad situations like generating the personal rage of the now deceased Doomsday, really, means an undoubtedly sarcastic remark
The logical part does not suit a being like me. And so, faced with the unhappy Amazon who might crush my head like a watermelon between her muscular thighs-not that it would be a bad end at all-I decide to throw logic to the wind.
"You know, with deductive skills like that, I almost mistook you for Batman," I could only comment with an obvious sarcastic tone crystal clear in my words, which I hoped he could hear and understand the teasing.
Her lips didn't even twitch. Well, I wasn't yet at Rose's level to irritate and piss off my enemy apparently....
"Really? So to what do I owe the offer of this unexpected visit, Wonder Woman? And can you take these chains off me? They are beginning to irritate me and that I can assure you they are not a welcome sight to behold when irritated."
"The bonds will remain as long as you are considered a threat."
"A threat, me. Hahahah?" I said, with no intention of admitting anything. "What could I have done? Last time I checked, I was the one who stuck my neck out with Doomsday to help you and your little city not end up in so many little cosmic pieces. "I look down at the straps holding your arms. "And this is the thanks I get?"
"Your help has been invaluable, but it does not wash away your misdeeds that you have done."
Annoyance along with familiar anger rises within me. "And as I said, what misdeeds?"
The Amazon ignores my question by taking decisive steps closer to me. It is only then that you have a full understanding of how impressive it really is. She may have been beautiful, but Wonder Woman reminds me of a panther as she almost saunters by and me are left guessing which step is her last before the inevitable lunge.
Instead, he simply examines me with cold eyes. "An interesting name, Typhon, for the unfortunate beast defeated by the king of the gods. My people believe that names have power, that they define you as yourself. I believe this applies to you as well."
"Yes, your actions are almost ... Typhon. If you had not intervened in the battle, you would never have been weakened enough to be taken prisoner. Your victory sealed your defeat, just like the old monster king."
"Don't be so modest, if it wasn't you taking the time to stab me in the back we wouldn't be in this situation," I bites back. "If you're trying to teach me the futility of helping others, you're making a really convincing argument. The next time Doomsday comes back looking for entertainment, I'll make sure I don't move a hand when the sky falls and the earth shatters."
Something akin to compassion flashes across her face before her collapses. "Do not underestimate our concern for us ingrates. Your help has been invaluable, as evidenced by our team of helpers and the thousands of people who have seen you fight," she said wryly.
Wonder Woman just admitted that they are helpers.... "But we know what you did in Washington, D.C. You have blood on your hands and the battle against Doomsday did too much damage, the humans are afraid...."
I struggled to get up from my chair, ignoring how my body screamed in protest as my strength tried to leave me, but I was not refusing to give a show of weakness just because I was in contact with a stupid green stone.
"And not you, Amazon?" I could only growl. "I know the stories, and I don't think the sword on the hip is just for show. What's the saying: don't throw stones from a glass house? Or maybe you want to play innocent, it doesn't suit you at all"
Her fingers dance softly on the knob and she stares at my shoulder as if lost in thought, before returning to me. "It's true." She states with evident conviction. "I am no stranger to death. But I have never killed another in anger or when it was unjust."
The fucking gall of this hypocritical bitch. Does she think I'm are some kind of psychopath who likes to go around killing people for the thrill of it? "And you think I did that? If you think I'm lying, use that lasso of yours Clearly, I'm guilty until proven innocent here." I couldn't help but respond in a tone that was almost monstrous making its way out of my mouth.
"If you desire a trial, I would be happy to accommodate you, but among the Amazons it is considered dishonorable to engage against the helpless."
"Think of it as me giving you a fair chance." My words might have had more than the desired effect had half my body not been wrapped in a straitjacket and with a fucking, stone limiting my strength.
"Maybe you're right," She begins as her walks away, her shifty footsteps sounding like thunder in the barren silent room. "I don't need the lasso to know sincerity, and I don't always need it to perceive lies. You've been hiding for months in one of Slade's many bases, and in this important battle you've revealed yourself, there must be a reason, and I'm going to rip them out of you."
I continue to examine the ceiling for a long moment before my speaking. "You won't do that until your patience with me has run out, will you? Is that how it's going to be? Will you play the role of the honorable princess until it suits you? When the gloves come off and you become the terror of the trenches you were so long ago? How many Germans did you kill then? How many of them really had a snowball's chance in hell against you?"
"A few." She says dispassionately. "I am not a daughter of Apollo or Hades."
"No, just the supposed daughter of Zeus himself, who we all know is so famous for being a righteous man and also very respectable especially towards women..." I couldn't help but laugh.
"You had better respect the King of the Gods..."
"I'm sorry, but I don't respect myths and have no interest in following those beings who believe themselves to be at the pinnacle when they are mere pebbles in the universe."
"And I don't need the lasso to know that you still harbor many secrets." I stiffen, but quickly calmed down by not being able to know my human life!
She looks at me strangely when I burst into laughter. Her purse of lips. "This is the end of our conversation, then. A truly enlightening one, it was. But know this Typhon, I don't really hold you guilty of any of this. It is simply in our nature."
"Our?" My question suddenly.
She smiles for the first time, a cold, fragile thing. "The blood of the gods is not something to trifle with. Destruction is easy for all of us. Some more than others, especially those aligned with evil."
I can't let her go without one last parting gift. After all, I was not kind enough to be silent when I was underestimated. for a simple object that made me weaker.
"Oh and step-sister," Wonder Woman still goes into storage, and her back stiffens. "Since you remember liking so many myths you'll remember that in the legend Typhon tore the sinews has Zaus with the very scythe of his father as the supreme god lay defeated and humiliated, won't you?"
She pauses for a moment, her hand clasped around the pommel of her blade, as if she is thinking of turning around and crossing me. She would be welcome to try, but I would do my best to take her down with me.
Fortunately, it doesn't come to that and she leaves the room, slamming the door noisily on her way out. No matter how much I like it, damn it was good to see her leave in a bad mood.
In comparison, my mood had improved significantly, finally allowing the tension in my body to continue to create an immunity for this stone was what I desperately needed.
