Manves entered the huge hall, with large strides.
All the students who were called, from all grades were gathered in the hall. The hall was divided exactly in half. A pathway was created in the middle and chairs were arranged one after other, row after row along the pathway. This is a simple conference Hall, unlike all other construction of high academy.
Everything went silent, when Manves entered the hall. Student who were glaring at the opposite side students, stopped and raised to their feet.
From one side, a girl took a few steps forward. She was tall for an average girl and had a pissed off expression on her pale white face. Her features soft, but expression sharp.
Simultaneously, a boy from other group stepped up and took same number of steps forward and almost stood at same level as the girl. He was tall, very tall, tan skinned, short hair with huge muscles.
Both of them, stood straight and said in unison, followed by their respective groups seated behind them, "Good evening, Mr. Manves."
Manves gestured for all of them to sit and everyone followed. The girl and the boy, went to sit, in the front row of their respective groups.
"Freshmen, please raise your hands." Manves, spoke out his first sentence eyeing both the groups. The people in the first rows, expect the very front row, from both sides raised their hands. They were not much, but enough people.
"Good job." He smiled while looking at the girl and the boy from earlier, to which the girl scoffed lightly. Mamves glared at her and started his speech.
"I'm assuming you might have attended the common welcoming event, so, I'm not going to repeat those words. Let's get to the point of this meeting." Manves lifted his fore finger and nodded it lightly.
"Firstly get to know your respective heads or seniors or whatever." He gestured and the girl and boy from before stood up.
They stood up and faced their groups, to introduce themselves. Both of them spoke at the same. They both faced each other and the boy smirked,
"Ladies first." He gestured with the smirk. The girl gave a stern look and a smirk soon replaced it.
"Weak boys first." She said, while cross in her arms and the boy gritted his teeth. Before he could retort, Manves' deep voice cut in.
"Enough."
Then, suddenly the girl's voice cut in. "Celia Dew. Senior. Vampire head for this year." Her tone was leveled and measured.
The boy spoke after shooting Celine a glare, "Hans Victor. Senior. Werewolf head for this year." His with poker face, but his anger was evident in his voice.
"Well, thank you, for your effort of introducing yourselves." Manves said through gritted teeth and waited for them to seat themselves, so that he could get this meeting over with.
This was already giving him a headache and he was thinking why in the hell did he pick these two as the heads for this year. What's done is done and now his concern is to explain and leave as soon as possible.
"So, freshmen, they would your respective heads and if any problem with anything you can report to them, or to your respective sophomore heads, that you will get to know later."
"Fellow students, the rules are the same as spoken in the welcoming event. Eating and class timetables are strict."
He heard some rustling and shift in from left side, the vampire side and looked at the uncomfortable freshmen. "And, no need to worry about your regular doses. Those would be provided when you come for your training every week."
He spoke up, as he sensed the reason for the shifting. He could understand it, since, he belonged to the same species. But, he didnt treat them any different. He was as strict with both of the groups.
For some moments, everything was silent, when a hand shot from werewolves side. Everyone sensed that and looked at a short boy seated almost at the edge of seat, in the second row.
Manves gestured for the boy to speak and the boy stood up. "Where can we find the seniors, when we need to say them something." He asked. This earned many nods from both sides of the room.
"You can find yours lazing around under the stairs or lecture halls." Celia spoke, while looking at Hans. Hans was really on edge with this girl.
"Well, you blood suckers can find your head hitting on 'tasty' humans for 'reasons'." He smirked, when Celia snapped her head and looked at him.
"Everyone's not horny like you guys. Always wanting to f*ck someone's brains out." Celia scoffed and Hans gritted his teeth. He got up from his seat kicking his seat.
"Is your big ego hurt by my words, Hans?" Celia fake gasped, with her hands on her chest. "This is what happens when try to boost it up in bed." She smirked and faced the front and this was last straw for Hans.
Within a blink of eye, Hans was at the side of Celia, with his hand raised, ready to strike. Everyone in the room, except the freshmen, seemed to be unphased with such an action. This happens very often, well not with all the heads, but only with Celia and Hans.
Thats when they heard a loud growl and a bang from front. Hans halted in his posture and looked behind him. He paled a bit at the sight and moved away from Celia and stood a few steps away.
They all saw Manves, standing in front of them, his long and sharp fangs on display and his blood red eyes strongly glaring at both of the heads. The podium beside was now on ground, smashed to almost pieces.
He kept glaring at both Celia and Hans, till they came forward and took a straight pose before him. "We apologize, Mr. Manves." They both said in unison.
Manves was still unconvinced, "Rememeber that you both are head for your respective species. Repeat this action again and both of you will know what the real pain is like. You'll not only be thrown out of this Academy, but the COUNTRY and from this world as well."
Manves spoke, stressing the word country with most importance.
Both the senior heads paled a bit and hurriedly nodded their heads. "Nothing word repeat, Mr. Manves!" Their pitch oddly going higher at the end.
Manves turned around and reached his previous spot and this time, set them with a hard glare on his face. His fangs were now returned to their original shape and size, while his pupils remained the same, blood red.
