Just when Arthur was about to ask what Ludwig meant by "They are here.", a beautiful sight caught his eye.
She was like a fairy who had decided to grace mortals with her presence. Her smile was so captivating that it seemed like the whole world had frozen up. Her eyes, which glowed with a hint of kindness and naivety, were as blue as the ocean. Her golden hair looked as if God had personally made it with golden threads. Her laugh sounded so ethereal that it could bewitch the whole world if she wanted to. Her jade-like skin took her already captivating beauty to another level. Furthermore, her top and her knee-length skirt complemented her curves.
Arthur started feeling butterflies in his stomach, which he thought he was incapable of feeling.
Seeing Arthur's eyes glued to the girl with golden hair, Ludwig's eyes showed a hint of joy as he heaved a sigh of relief.
He patted Arthur's shoulder and said mischievously "Are you just gonna keep staring at her? Let's go.". Without waiting for a reply, Ludwig stood up and headed towards the two girls.
Arthur panicked but still decided to follow while still being a little hesitant.
"Why did you call us here?" the black-haired girl next to the angel asked in a sweet voice.
"I just wanted to see you." Ludwig winked as he spoke.
The girl blushed but spoke in a harsh tone, " You still have the gall to say that after you left me in the middle of a date?"
Ludwig spoke as if he was scared, "Sorry, father called me and you know how he gets if I'm late."
"This better not be a lie or else-" as the girl was speaking, Ludwig suddenly interrupted and changed the topic, "I wouldn't dare, my lady. I have someone to introduce to you guys." Ludwig signaled Arthur to come closer.
"This is Arthur Morgan, he's is new in town and he'll also be attending our university starting tomorrow." Ludwig introduced Arthur to the girls.
"Hello, nice to meet you guys." Arthur greeted.
"Hi, I'm Chloe. Nice to meet you too." said the golden-haired girl in her sweet and ethereal voice and smiled at Arthur.
Seeing Chloe introduce herself, both Ludwig and the other girl were dumbstruck whereas Arthur froze up as he did before.
The black-haired girl quickly regained her calm and introduced herself, "Hi I'm Nadine. I hope you enjoy our small town and our company."
Ludwig exclaimed as if he had suddenly remembered something, "Chloe, can you accompany Arthur for a while? I needed Nadine's help with something, it'll only take about 15-20 mins. That's why I called you guys here."
Nadine knew what Ludwig was trying to do and assumed Chloe would definitely decline but much to her surprise Chloe didn't reject it at all instead she blushed a little and nodded. Nadine was shocked however Ludwig was even more shocked as he knew how hard it was to be alone with Chloe and he wasn't expecting his proposition to be accepted at all. Ludwig felt happy for Arthur and immediately dragged the still hesitating Nadine out of the park.
