As Kayla's queer eyes met those of the mysterious person, a strange feeling of uneasiness surged into their heart.

Under Kayla's command, the wave of black and silver started rapidly growing into a gigantic tidal wave, enough to form a protective screen in front of her. And, with a push from her seemingly fragile palms, that still-rising tidal wave gushed forward, intercepting the otherworldly saber strike.
"Useless effort!" The mysterious person scoffed forcefully, partially trying to comfort themselves.
