We start climbing the stairway while I'm still singing. We get half way when I finish the song. "Are you done?" Michael asks with a exasperation in his voice. "What didn't you like it?" I ask with a hurt tone. "*Sigh* it was fine." He said with a defeated look. I just smile and start humming it.
When we reach the top I see a gate. "So there really is a gate." I say walking towards it. "Don't touch it, it's pure light energy." Michael said too late as I've already grabbed it. I test if I can bend it, and I can. "You've got to get a better gate, this one is way too weak." I said to a dumbstruck Michael. "Remember she is here to help." Michael muttered under his breath, but I still heard it.
We break off from Dina and Gavreel. "See you in two weeks Dina." I said as they were walking off. She waved and disappeared, we went on towards the centre of heaven. As we passed through the various levels of heaven, me and Ruby got a lot of hate filled looks. I just look back and wave.
We arrive at the home of the archangels, and see a beautiful woman sitting down drinking tea. "Hello Gabriel, I'm back an I've brought a couple of guests." Michael said smiling and pointing at me and Ruby. 'Wow she really is beautiful' I think, then Ruby elbows me and clears her throat. I look at her amused. "Ruby are you jealous?" I whisper in her ear playfully. She just looks at me with a disapproving eyes. I start to laugh and give her a kiss.
"Gabriel said she will keep Ruby company, while we head to the system." Michael said trying to get our attention. "Okidoki, see you soon sweetheart." I said turning and kissing her again. We head towards the system, I wonder what it would look like. I'm kinda imagining a grand room filled with formulas I could research, but my imagination has been crushed by a small room with a single formula.
"This is the thing you have been having a hard time with? I'm so disappointed." I say, looking at a simple creation formula. It's not even done properly. "Is this the real thing, or are you testing me? This must be a test, so let's go to the real thing." I say, not accepting that this half assed formula is the system. "What do you mean, this is the one and only system." Michael said confused.
"So god made a half assed formula, and you can't figure it out?" I asked pointing at the system. "But god was in here tinkering with it constantly." He said looking shocked. "I'll fix it and make it fully functional, but this is just a joke. I can't believe it was such a simple formula that's not even done right. How inept can you be to screw up such a simple formula." I started to babble on.
Ten minutes later. "It's done and will work a lot better too." I said in a monotone voice. "That was quick, is that all?" Michael asked looking at me worried. "Yep, that's all. It was so easy I could've done it in my sleep." I said still with a monotone voice. I just walk away from the disappointing system. ("Sera did you know how bad that system was?") I asked hoping she didn't. (*I'm sorry Scarlet, I didn't think it would be that simple.*) Sera said in an apologetic voice.
Once I reach the archangels place. "Ruby let's go, this was a disappointing trip." I said with the same monotone voice. "What happened, you were so hyped to fix the system. Don't tell me you couldn't fix it?" Ruby asked shocked at her thought. "No it's not that I couldn't fix it, it was just to easy." I said still disappointed. "Goodbye, see you later." I say sighing and teleport us home.
Once we get in, everyone bombarded me with questions. "Can I answer tomorrow, I think I just want to sleep." I say walking to my room. Ruby close behind me. "Don't be so disappointed babe." Ruby said while hugging me.
