After the confession, I left to go back to my room. Kara followed behind me, I think she is making sure I don't collapse. "So what do you think?" I ask with a bit of trepidation. "It's strange that you can remember a past life, it must be strange being a kid again." With a bit of shock, I looked at her. "Don't you find me liking girls strange?" I ask and she gave me a look I didn't know. "Scarlet I've been with you for nearly two years, plus I found out you were a lesbian within two months. You weren't very sneaky about checking out women when we were out." She said matter of factly.
I just started laughing. "So you've known that long huh." I'm lost for words, that's a first. I just continued to my room. I turn around to say something to Kara, when she cut me off. "Go to bed, we will talk tomorrow. Plus you've been slacking off for a month, so back to training in the morning." She said if I didn't know she was a Valkyrie, I would have thought she was a spartan.
I woke up, stretched and got dressed. I make my way to the training room, when I open the door, I see everyone training. Rias walked up to me and gave me a hug. "Thank you Scarlet, I don't know what I would have done if you didn't interfere." She said as she let go of me. "Well it didn't seem Riser wanted it either, but I'm glad I helped." I said smiling, then I look at her. "Let's go do some training." And we go off.
After training I decided to visit Azazel, so I went to the teleportation circle and fed magic into it. The next moment I'm in strange office with lots of documents and random pieces of materials strewn on the floor. "Azazel are you here?" I shout waiting for an answer. "Ah Scarlet good to see you, I heard about that whole incident and how it shook most of the Gremory territory." He said with a laugh in his voice. I roll my eyes. "I've come to research sacred gears, I finished reading the documents you gave me last time."
"Good now we can get started with the real stuff, Vali I need you to bring the prototypes to me." Azazel shouted and a voice answered. "So Scarlet finally woke up huh, ok I'll go get them." I heard a shuffling and a door open. Azazel pops up out of nowhere. "So what do you think about them?" He asked looking excited. "I think I've seen formulas similar to this, so it might be easier then I anticipated." I said truthfully as Azazel just stares at me. He got broken out of it by Vali returning.
"Yo Scarlet, do you think I could have a sparing match with you?" Vali asked while handing the prototypes to Azazel. "I don't see why not, from the documents I got, you have the divine dividing sacred gear, right?" I said actually looking forward to a sparing match with Vali. "Yes that's right but I have yet to reach balance breaker." Vali said looking determined. "If you want help training, my queen could help. I'll bring her next time and you'll reach balance breaker in no time." I said with a confident smile.
And so we spent the day researching. "Scarlet I think you should head back." Azazel said looking at the time. Well I've gotten used to being completely engrossed in research. So that's how I spent my time and at the weekends all of us hanging out with Sona and her new peerage members.
*Three years and nine months later.
I wake up and walk towards the mirror. The past three years have been kinda the same thing over and over again. The only thing different is me, me and Rias no longer look the same. I'm taller and have smaller breasts, but I prefer it that way, and I now style my hair in a ponytail with two bits of hair at the sides to frame my face. I start getting ready for my last sparing match against Vali, he is a lot stronger than he was in the original.
Kara's spartan training paid off, he reached balance breaker in two days. I did ask him how it went but he refused to tell me and whenever he saw Kara after that he called her master. Azazel and I are on the cusp of a breakthrough, so I think Azazel is coming to the human world with us. I decided to go with Rias to Kuoh Academy and Kara will start as the P.E. teacher. Tiamat said she had some things to take care of, I didn't mind and let her do what she needed to do.
