As I stand on the stage looking at everyone still staring, I open my storage space and grab a towel, I start wiping my face and my hands. "There was a lot of blood on my hands." I said looking at the now bloody towel. When I look up I see Ajuka with his mouth open. "Why is everyone so quiet?" I asked confused, until Sera piped up.(*Scarlet, devils can't use healing magic nor can they touch a light spear without serious pain.*) she said with a defeated voice.
("I'm sure demonic magic focuses on imagination so theoretically it is possible.") I answer thinking back to all I read about demonic magic. (*That's true but the light from healing would hurt the caster.*) Sera said. ("If it's only the light that hurts devils, then why not imagine darkness healing.") I said confidently. (*But healing magic is inherently light magic, I don't think you can work around that.*) Sera said not as confident as she was. ("But if you imagine healing magic was inherently dark magic it should work.") I said thinking of running it by Ajuka, oh that's right I'm still on stage.
Ajuka was the first to speak. "I have so many questions but first how did you touch a light spear without getting burned?" He asked looking at my now clean hands. "I coated my hand in a magic that negates the effects of light magic." I said lying through my teeth. I could tell he didn't believe me though , but he continued. "And the most important question, how did you use healing magic?" He looked and my shoulder which was still bloody. "It was a healing magic that has dark as it's inherent magic instead of light." I said with a smile.
As Ajuka was processing what I said, I walked over to Kara who seemed a bit shell shocked. "Well done Kara how did you manage to sense me when I was in the void?" I asked, curious and wanting to learn it. "Are you ok, I'm sorry I forgot that you were a devil and the light would burn." She said crying. I just hug her and said. "Don't worry even if I couldn't heal myself there where skilled medics waiting, plus it help me understand my magic better, so don't cry just make sure you train me enough that this can't happen." I said with a laugh and continued to hug the crying Kara.
It's a few hours later and we are sitting in Ajuka's office. Kara has composed herself and is sitting next to me with a determined face. Waiting for Ajuka to say something, I hear the door open when I look around, all I see is a flash of crimson as Sirzechs picks me and starts hugging me. "My little sister, Ajuka sent me the video and I'm so proud of you. Your magic is amazing." He said as he started to throw me in the air.
"Big brother please stop, or I might have to tell Grayfia." I said teasing him. "Grayfia is coming to visit you on her next day off." He said with a smile, as I go pale. "Why is big sister coming here." I ask worried about what she would say or do. "Don't worry I think she is just coming to size up you new family member." He said as he placed me back on my seat. I look at Kara with a I'm sorry expression, as Sirzechs shakes Ajuka's hand. "So you made a magic that devils can use heal?" Sirzechs asked pulling up a chair and sitting down.
So I explain my theory, they didn't know how to react. "We will keep this between us for now while we test if other devils can use this magic." Ajuka said while making notes. Sirzechs then turns to Kara and said. "Sorry about the late introduction, I'm Sirzechs Lucifer, Scarlets big brother and you are?" As he held his hand out for Kara. "My name is Kara, a former Valkyrie now the queen of Scarlet Gremory's family." She said while shaking his hand with a nervous expression.
We sat in Ajuka's office testing the theory for hours before I heard Ajuka say. "Time for bed, Scarlet and you as well Kara." I looked at Ajuka and asked. "Where is Kara's room?" He looked at Kara and said. "It's the one next to yours." I grab Kara's hand and leave the office.
