Lily daughter of Naeris, a D-rank Adventurer from the Holy Kingdom. Lily must say for herself that she is one of the few underdogs that can make it to the D-rank in two weeks without any backing from the local noble or high-rank adventurer.
In her entire life, she has been training with her father Naeris, who is a former B-rank adventurer himself and also her mother, Vanessa, a former C-rank adventurer. Her dream is to surpass her parents by reaching an A-rank adventurer. But all of her dreams are thrown out of the window as she focuses on staying alive. Lily looks at her back and sees that a pack of Inferno wolves is still chasing her, and even with her skill 'Wind Walker, ' she can't outrun the Inferno wolf behind her. She gets cocky when she sees two inferno wolves inside the forest, thinking they are separated from their pack and tries to use her 'Wind Walker' skill to kill them quickly and bring their corpse to the guild. However, when she gets closer to the wolf, they begin to howl, and suddenly their pack member comes to their location in a few seconds.
The Inferno Wolf is a D-rank monster that can be killed by a newbie adventurer. However, a pack of Inferno Wolf is high C-rank monsters to low B-rank monsters that can only be killed by an experienced adventurer, and even then, they need to be careful handle the monsters.
Earlier she thought that with her wind walker skill, she could kill them in an instant, but she is wrong. The reason she thought she could kill them is that Wind Walker let her conceal her presence using the wind and also boosted her speed in a short amount of time. Sadly for her, she underestimates the nose of Inferno Wolf as she walks inside their range, the wolf immediately calls its pack and begins to chase her.
She continues to run toward the capital city and hoping that the guard will help her after seeing the pack of Inferno Wolf. While desperately running toward the city, Lily didn't see one of the wolves jump at her from her right. Lily sees one of the wolves jump at her, raise her hand and block the wolf using her hand. She tried to kill the wolf using her knife, but before she could stab it, another wolf came and bit her other arm and also her legs.
"HELP! HELP ME!"
She shouts with all her might while struggling to free her from the wolves that bite her. She slowly feels numb as she already lost so much blood.
"H...Help… Me"
The last thing she hears is the growling of a wolf and someone chanting.
"Hark and take heed. I bring with me the path of Salvation, for Thou shalt fear neither enemy nor serpent. Come now! The Blade By Which Evil Force is Slain! Ascalon!"

Gabriel looks at the damage his Authority does to the boulder behind the pack of wolves. While he holds back the power output by much, the damage is still big.
"Oops"
Shaking his head a little, Gabriel walked to the young woman's unconscious body. She is bleeding all over her body because the pack of wolves bites her body. He crouched down and activated another authority.
"Hear my name and rejoice! I who govern over plague and healing! I declare there will be no more injuries for all under my protection! Caduceus!"
After activating his Authority, a staff member appeared in front of him. The staff itself has a golden color with a white orb on top of it and also a wing. It also has a twin snake coil around the staff.
He grabs the staff and points it at the young woman in front of him. Just like that, all the injuries the young woman has been gone in a second. After healing the unconscious woman, Gabriel cast a simple levitation spell at her and took her with him to his house. After walking for a few minutes, they arrive at the house that was given to him by the royal family.
He still remembers the first time he got this house from the princess. The house itself is in a safe zone as the barrier around the capital reaches his place, making the monster unable to go inside the house or even his farm. The house itself is nothing fancy, a one-story tall building with two bedrooms and fully equipped with a bathtub is one of the luxurious things in this world.
In 31 days, he was able to renovate the house and make his private farm in front of his house. Using the Authority of Hestia and Dionysus, he can make his house more homey and comfortable for him and his guests while using Dionysus to bless the land for his cultivation. Dionysus' blessing specifies that his blessing is only for a vineyard, but it is still good enough for other plants. Because of this blessing, Gabriel was able to sell some of his wine to the trader in the capital city, making it his main source of income. However, he is still careful not to make too much wine, so people will not be suspicious of him. The reason for this is because Dionysus's blessing lets him make wine in a short amount of time, and every barrel of wine he creates will taste heavenly.
After placing the young woman on the bed, Gabriel walked to the bookshelf in the corner of his bedroom. The bookshelf is filled with magic books and ritual books. While the price of a book is mind-blowing, he is still able to buy many of them using the income coming from his wine trade.
Gaea currency is using a coin. 1 Platinum Coin = 10 Gold Coin. 1 Gold Coin = 100 Silver. 1 Silver = 1000 Copper. A gold coin can make a commoner live a happy life for two years while 1 Platinum coin can buy you a title of Baron/Baroness and a small piece of land for yourself. The price of this book is 85 Silver per book on the topic of Novice spellbook. Right now, he has one book on Novice spell books and two beginner spellbooks.
The novice book is about Darkness magic, while the beginner is about Healing and Lifestyle magic. While he can use his authority to do what the spell does, Gabriel won't only depend on his skill, because he fears there is a skill that blocks anyone using a skill.
The system in this world is also weird, in his opinion, because skill and Magic are not the same. Skill is a birth given from the god to all creation except for monsters and demons. You can get more than one skill, but the chance of getting more than one skill is so small it is considered a miracle. While his skill cannot be obtained by any means, Magic, however, can be trained by using a book or get trained by another sorcerer or spell caster.
Magic-user is divided into two categories, Sorcerer and Spell Caster. Sorcerers are known for their control over elements, while Spell Caster is known for its control over space, poison, and support spells. Usually, Sorcerer is the one that destroys the formation of the enemy. At the same time, Spell Caster is the one that supports the team by placing traps and teleporting an ally from danger, the Spell Caster, also the one that gives a temporary boost to their ally weapon and armor.
There is also an Advanced category which is Enchanter. Enchanter can enchant people's armor and sword, making it affect every time they use it against an enemy. At first, Gabriel thought that Enchanter's only job is to enchant equipment, but he is wrong as the people qualified as Enchanter need to master both Sorcerer and Spell Caster magic, making this job the most sought job in the world.
Gabriel snaps from his thought and sees the book in front of him before activating the Authority of Hecate, the Goddess of Magic and Spell.
"I walk alongside Magic itself. The path of understanding existence and all it's mysteries. For I hear the heartbeat of the world and feel it's breath all around me. There is no limit to Magic, nor can I be limited. For I am the Will of Magic itself."
After he activated the Authority and opened up the book in front of him, suddenly, many learned how to use the spell in front of him and how to make it stronger than before appear inside his head. He then begins to read the book at a fast pace and write down how to modify the spell to make it stronger and not use much Magic than before. Gabriel is too focused on the book in front of him that he doesn't release his guest and already wakes up and watches him with interest.
