( Yuuki's POV )

Matsu: [emergency! The stability of this place is falling fast, I don't want to rush you, but we need to leave soon!]
With Matsu's message, I knew that he was absorbing the energy of this domain to power up, this place would probably collapse if I didn't stop that guy, I couldn't talk in this form, so I sent a mental message to the girls.

I opened my mouth and charged energy to fire a powerful attack, the god raised his sights just before I fired and I could see true desperation but that didn't stop me, I fired my laser attack and created a hole in his upper body that went from shoulder to shoulder, His head and what was left of his arms that weren't connected to anything fell to the ground and I landed in front of him.
As I was reaching my limit I undid my transformation, I thought about burning the body completely to ensure there was no sudden final form but before I could the corpse of the god turned into pure energy that flew into my body, my immediate thought was that it was an attempt to possess my body but almost immediately I felt that foreign energy becoming my own.
Maybe that was a last desperate attempt to possess me but my own growing divinity devoured him before I could, After all that, the temple stopped crumbling, but there was nothing for us here anymore so I went back to the girls.
Ranko: Hey are you okay?
Yuuki: Of course, why wouldn't I be?
