[Living Realm, Arena C15]

[16:20]

"We will commence with the Finals in a small moment, but before that, we have a few encouraging words from King Shinji Matou." The commentator announced from her spot in the booth that was high above the rest of the stands' positions. From another balcony-like area in the stands that was also much higher than the standard ones, yet a bit lower than that of the commentator's, King Shinji stood up, turning to face his trusted friend and the Living Realm's strongest swordsman, Suzaku with a smile gracing his features, such an expression being returned with a curt nod from the swordsman. King Shinji walked forward towards guard railing that was colored a shining green color as he placed his hands upon it, resting some of his weight upon on the object. "I'd be lying if I said I haven't been on the edge of my seat the entire day throughout this whole tournament. Each battle, each wound inflicted, each win, each loss, was nothing short of a showcase of prodigious talent that gives me hope, no guarantees me that this realm has brought forth quite possibly the best generation thus far, and that we will shatter through our own ceiling and rise to become the strongest realm once again! I thank you for such an amazing tournament and once this is over, I want all of you, win or lose, to move forward and advance to much greater levels of not just power, but as people. Thank you all." King Shinji spoke and the crowd cheered in a respectful manner to show how much respect that they had for the King of the Living Realm because it was almost completely different when compared to their excitement for the battles that had previously occurred, yet something said that they were going to become even more wild with the final match up that had been set to commence only a couple of minutes from now. "Now for the Final match up to conclude the Tournament of Candidates, Shun Beifong VS Druvious Kai Raserei!!" The commentator announced and the crowd went wild, filling the entirety of the arena with nothing but what would be regarded as animalistic cheers. Most had been informed of the entrants for this tournament and had deduced or made predictions as to who would end up as the finalists and the votes were in favor of this matchup with 'Ikaku Yamauchi VS Shun Beifong' being a close second, so in a way, it seemed like a fated battle and a battle that a majority hoped for. "This should be quite a match." Suzaku uttered towards his close friend, King Shinji as he stared down below at the battle set to begin while the ruler took a seat. "It should be one hell of a battle, these two are among some of the great talents that this new generation carries, and it is my job, just as it is yours to give these warriors hope and help them grow as people so that they can possess powerful mentalities."

From either end of the arena, both individuals stepped out, walking at different paces to until they stopped at a certain point, a distance of 10 meters separating the two. The arena was dead quiet, Kai's right hand hovering above the hilt of his tanto located on his back, the same action being performed by the golden boy as the two simply stared at each other, no emotion evident on their faces but that was not necessary, their eyes said it all. Druvious' eyes were full if determination and conviction, obviously not willing to let the second chance he had been given go to waste after he had suffered a loss at the heir to the position as the head Hoshinomori, who did not even need to use her Special Sword Skill to defeat him, not that she had it, but that was something Druvious did not know. Shun on the other hand, was confident in his ability, sure that he could easily defeat the Raserei prodigy. "Begin!" The commentator's voice sounded throughout the entire arena for what could've been the last few times in the tournament and in that instant, both individuals grabbed onto their blades and unsheathed them from their vessels, charging towards each other in a burst of speed that seemed almost impossible to achieve, leaving clouds of dust behind them and reaching each other in a fraction of a second where their blades clashed and sent sparks flying. Both appeared to be exerting their full force in this single attack but appeared to be evenly matched as they stood in a stalemate. They eventually separated from this position after realizing that they could not topple each other that easily and proceeded with a series of differently placed slashes. Shun sent a vertical slash from top to bottom towards Druvious' head though this was blocked by the Raserei who held his tanto in vertical form and pushed upwards to release the intended force on the golden boy, sending his tumbling backwards, though he quickly gained control of this and skidded to a stop with one knee on the ground. Shun growled in annoyance, but was not given a single second to contemplate the impending attack. "Kurai Muchi!!" Druvious yelled as his tanto glowed an indigo color and he swung the blade to release a wave of indigo colored energy that covered half of the arena's battlefield. "Raijin no Ha : Biki no Hotaru!!" Shun yelled as lightning began to surge throughout his sword, expanding outwards into what appeared to be small spheres but with more observation, they were fireflies, one thousand of them. They expanded towards the wave of energy, with the mental command from the golden boy, challenging the attack that stood in his way, and this proved to be way more difficult than he expected because it appeared that he was struggling. 'Dammit.....' He thought as he did his best to stand his ground, the ground below him cracking into a crater at the force exerted.

"RAAAAAAAH!!" Shun yelled, the fireflies constructed from lightning expanding farther and farther until a large surge formed at the center of the arena, canceling out the wave of energy. The surge died down with the entirety of the arena being blanketed by a large amount of dust, blocking the view of everyone in the stands, as well as concealing both contestants from each other, though this was not a problem for both of them, because they still knew exactly where the other was, courtesy of the BioKi Sensing Technique. Shun dropped to his knees, panting heavily as beads of sweat running down his face with blood trickling down his mouth and his armour damaged. 'What was that....?' He asked himself from his mental plane, but he was not given a second longer when he felt a presence from above, looking up to see Druvious, who was also damaged from the blast of the attack landing down with his tanto aimed downwards in order to stab his opponent in the back once he landed but the golden boy quickly took a leap backwards that saved him from the attack, charging into battle once again as he performed a horizontal slash from right to left that was blocked by a downwards stab towards Shun's blade with a kick to follow up, but it was was caught by the golden boy's free hand. From there he swiftly moved his blade towards the apprehended appendage in order to deal some damage and gain the upper hand but it seemed that Druvious was fast, jumping a bit on order to plant his free foot in Shun's face, sending him tumbling a few meters across. "Burēdopisutoru: Gatoringugan!" Kai yelled as he swung his blade to release a trail of purple energy that began to pair up with small energy particles forming into multiple tennis ball sized spheres that gathered around his body, creating what one would call a protective barrier. Shun got up to a vertical base once again and growled. "I won't let you beat me, I am Shun Beifong!!" He yelled in an infuriated tone, his blade surging with lightning once again "Raijin no Ha : Biki no Hotaru!!" He yelled, uttering the name of the same technique he had used not so long ago and just like before, the lightning expanded to form what appeared to be around one thousand spheres of lightning at first glance, but they were fireflies constructed from lightning. The beings stood around Shun in a similar manner and the two seemed to pause for a moment, heavy breathing being the only thing heard. From a single mental command that was given by both contestants, the spheres and fireflies advanced, either moving strategically or head on completely under the two's control and this went on for a few more minutes until the golden boy noticed an opening that he would soon exploit, though it was a gamble. The remaining fireflies moved in to form a linear line, connecting to Shun's sword and using this opportunity where the golden boy was also open, he used the rest of his spheres and surrounded Shun. "Raijin'noken sāberu: 2-Banme no suteppu!!" He yelled and in that instant, the linked fireflies formed a blade of lightning that extended outwards and struck Druvious in the midsection, popping out to the other side, though this lasted for only a second due to Druvious' attack. The Raserei dropped to the ground, and the smoke cleared with the now clearing dust to reveal a still standing Shun, though he was heavily damaged, more damaged than Druvious. He stood on legs made of jelly, doing his best to maintain his vertical base as the dust finally cleared fully to reveal the downed Druvious and the staggering Shun and even though the crowd had not seen the climax of the battle, they knew well enough that both of them had trouble and only one with the greater will took the win. "The winner of the Tournament of Candidates is Shun Beifong!!" The commentator announced and the crowd went completely insane while the golden boy dropped to the ground back first, his victory secured.

[Realm of Ra, Arena B07]

[16:39]

"This honestly has been a satisfactory experience, I'm proud of what most of you have achieved here today, and I'm sure that all of you will go out there and hold the name of this realm up higher than any of the swordsmen who have come before you. Let the Light of Ra shine upon you." A masculine voice spoke up in an inspiring tone, inspiring what appeared to be thousands of people in a single go, earning cheers from all of them in the arena, an arena that was located in what appeared to a scorching hot land that was filled with nothing but sand, no plants, no water, nothing but sand. This was the Realm of Ra, the realm said to be uninhabitable by all life, until it developed it's own form of life, much similar to the Spirit Realm and Phantom Realm. These people that were born on the realm, had been specifically designed to live in the area, gaining their power and life force from a large circular structure high up in the sky, present in all the realms, yet strongest in this one. With no knowledge of this celestial object in the sky aside from the fact that this structure granted them their abilities and allowed them to grow stronger and stronger whenever in the presence of it, the inhabitants of the Realm dubbed it as Ra, the God watching over the Realm and responsible for all it's happenings with more gods a tier lower than him under his command. "We thank our Pharoah for those words. Now, let us proceed with the Finals, Amon O Ushiza VS Kurumi Hasegawa!!" A male voice called out, different from the first. From the ends of the arena on either side, two individuals walked and met each other at the center of the arena, 9 meters separating them. On one side was a male who had tanned skin, shining orange eyes and he had no hair aside from the small brown fade. He was about a head taller than the girl and was dressed in a white vest that had a gold colored stripe running through the chest area, a gold colored cloth around his waist with a circular emblem, the insignia of this Realm which was a carving of Ra. He was dressed in white pants with gold accents and he was barefooted. His sword laid in a vertical manner on the right side of his waist with the hilt being white in color and the sheath itself being gold.

On the other side was a girl who had a fair skin tone, midnight blue eyes, midnight blue hair that stopped just above her buttocks and had two long bangs tied together in the front with two gold bangles and a curvy yet slightly petite figure. She donned a white dress that that had that stopped at her knees and was split open in the front, revealing her toned legs and around her waist was a blue fabric belt with a white triangle pattern, the belt extending upwards in a swirl and stopping just below her breasts, where they wrapped around as well. Where her dress was split was a gold item if sorts that extended downwards and stopped at her legs, covering up what should not be seen in that specific area if the dress happened to reveal too much. Around her head was a gold headband of sorts that had a serpent extending outwards a bit and around her wrists were armbands. On her face, the left eye specifically, was a small tattoo that extended a bit under her eye and in her hand was a small blade with a blue hilt and a gold sheath. "Good luck, Kurumi!!" A feminine voice called out towards the girl in the arena and she turned to her left and looked upwards to see a a female who appeared a little older than the girl and bore a similar appearance in terms facial features but had a more developed body and different hair. Her hair was black with greenish blue highlights and she also had a fair skin tone, though it was one that was close to being considered tan and her eyes were gold in color. She wore a dress that stopped just above the knees and was greenish blue in the chest area with gold bolts around that area, continuing downward where it was white with greenish blue and gold accents, the dress being split open at the sides by the waist area to allow the legs to freely navigate in whatever direction. Around her waist was a golden belt that bore the symbolism of Ra at the buckle and on her thighs and legs were various jewels such as Golden anklets. Her arms were also not short of jewelry, her left wrist possessing a serpent bracelet that wrapped around the area like so and on her right upper arm was a gold bracelet. She wore a gold choker with a ruby and what appeared to be a crown on her head which had Ra holding up the power he granted the Realm. She sat on a throne that was next to 4 others that were much bigger than hers. A smile crept up the face of the girl now revealed to be Kurumi as she turned back to face her opponent with a death glare.

"Beg--" The masculine voice that had announced the match was cut off when a man ran into the battlefield of the arena frantically. He was dressed in nothing but a white robe that was tied around his waist and stopped at his knees and he had tanned skin, black eyes and wild spiky white hair. He appeared to be scared for his life according to the expression that was painted on his face as he tripped and fell face first to the ground. The crowd gasped in shock while Kurumi quickly ran to the man's aid, helping him up back to a vertical base. The man was sweaty and breathing heavily as well, staring at Kurumi's opponent, Amon with a smirk gracing his features. "YOU!" He yelled out and his mouth opened up to the widest of proportions, as if his lower jaw had been detached or had completely been removed and from there, a beam of energy jumped out. The beam was a mixture of different colors, more specifically Red, Orange, Yellow, Green, Blue, Indigo and Violet, moving in a such a manner that it would be mistaken for water. In only a fraction of a second, the beam went from the man's maw and forcefully dug into Amon's. "AAAAAAAARGH!!" He screamed in excruciating pain, dropping to his knees and clutching his stomach tightly. Kurumi stared at the person she had held up and saw nothing but a shriveled shell of what was next to her mere seconds ago. "What the hell is going on....?" Kurumi asked herself as she dropped the corpse on the sandy ground and stared towards Amon. "I'm back!!" He yelled in a maniacally cheerful tone and Kurumi raised her eyebrow in confusion. "Kurumi, stay back!!" The same voice Kurumi had heard before called out and she sighed as she leapt upwards, jumping on multiple platforms until she reached balcony like area. "What are you doing here? You're a swordsman so go fight!" A male voice asked and it was revealed to be man who had black hair, gold eyes and tanned skin. He was dressed in blue robes that had gold accents and on his head was a pschent. He looked to be in his late forties in terms of age. This was the Pharoah of the Realm of Ra, Tutankhamun Hasegawa, the 6th Pharaoh in succession. "She can't go back there, father, she'll get killed! You know what he was capable of, if he's somehow back then nobody's safe!" The female yelled in a concerned tone. "But-" "It's alright, Hikari. I'll fight, that's my job right?" Kurumi said with a smile making its way to her face. "But before I go back, do you have any idea who this guy is?" She asked and the lady now identified as Hikari sighed. "You two are impossible."

"His name was Maddo Nikushimi, a former member of Anubis Corps and he was obsessed with discovering the truth of the power we all have, but only you swordsmen are able to utilize, Taiyō. With this, he developed many different abilities from all these different experiments, but his body was reaching it's limit soon. He then created a new form of energy, something completely different from what we all had and he did what he always did, he absorbed this energy into his body but his body just couldn't take it anymore. It started spasming wildly and his skin turned into a mixture of different pigments before he exploded from this overload, taking his research facility and 8000 lives with him. His body was never found so it was assumed that it was blown to smithereens in the explosion, but it seemed that he turned into something else...." Hikari explained and Kurumi's eyes widened in shock, she had not heard of such an accident in her entire life. She was probably told this tale by their father, the same father who was the Pharoah and showed her nothing but hatred for as long as she could remember, but she had grown impervious to his unjustified hatred after some time, so she was unbothered. "So he's got some form of energy that is comfortable unknown?" Kurumi asked once again and Hikari nodded with her eyes closed. "Yes, don't touch him because it looks extremely detrimental to the the body and....come back safe to me." She said as a sad smile made it's way to her face. "I promise, big sister." Kurumi answered with a smile of her own, turning her back to the constant discouraging words being thrown around by her father. She leapt off from the railing of the special stands, and what followed shocked most, a set of 4 large appendages extended outwards from her back, wings. They were gold in color and twice the size of Kurumi and with a single flap, they moved her higher in the air and they suspended her in the air once this action was constantly repeated. She unsheathed the small blade in her hand. "Okay, let's try this...Rāzubureido : Jigoku no Hyō!!" She yelled as the entirety of her dagger like sword caught fire, golden colored flames. She launched the blade at Amon, who was warding off swordsmen right after doing what appeared to be absorbing them. The blade that had caught fire multiplied into a multitude of blades that had all been engulfed by flames, at about 10 as they continued to plummet in a diagonal fashion in order to strike Amon with pinpoint accuracy.

Amon stared at the burning blades with a blank expression painted onto his face as an aura of multicolored energy engulfed his entire body, the blades simply disappearing into nothingness, including the original version and Kurumi gasped in shock. "He didn't even need to move, Damn...." the daughter of the Pharaoh uttered to herself in pure awe. "Get down here a bit." Amon said with a smirk as he held his left hand moved to the right side of his waist, where his sword was located and he swiftly unsheathed the weapon that began to glow with the same multicolored energy that Kurumi had seen one too many times for it to be comfortable. He swung the blade in a slashing formation, releasing a gust of wind that had been focused in one area, so condensed into one position that it had become sharp enough to cut the body in half, and it was headed for Kurumi's chest at what could have been sworn to be an unavoidable speed, but it did not hurt to try right? Right. The Pharaoh's daughter lowered her position in the last minute and the result of such a decision would be receiving a residual version of the attack that left small but multiple cuts across her body, including her wings and the stinging pain she felt in both her body and wings made it difficult to focus on keeping herself in the air and as such, she plummeted towards the sandy ground, landing face first so hard that her body bounced back up and flipped over so she laid on her back, and this was saying something considering that nothing could bounce on sand. "KURUMI!!" Hikari yelled as she stood up and attempt to go towards the arena floor and do whatever she could to help. "No, you'll just be going to your death down there! Leave her be, she's expendable." The Pharaoh's reprimanded her older daughter as he stood up and began to leave. "What kind of father are you?! Your daughter's going to die and you're just going to up and leave?!" Hikari grabbed her father's shoulders as tears began streaming down her round face and the Pharoah pushed past her, walking away. "Fine, if you won't, I will." She spoke and just as she was about to jump over the railing, she was shocked at the events that followed. "Sabaku no Ha : Saryū!!" A voice called out and from the sand on the ground, a large dragon formed, a serpentine type that charged towards Amon, grabbing him in it's mouth just before crashing into the walls separating the stands from the battlefield and breaking down into regular sand once again, though it was crushing Amon under the pressure. "It seems it wasn't time yet.....next time..." He muttered as blood ran down his mouth, the area widening to inhuman levels and the multicolored beam of energy expelling into the sky, leaving another corpse in it's wake. "Kurumi!!" Hikari yelled as she landed gracefully on the sandy ground, her bare feet touching the scorching ground though she was unbothered, running towards her younger sister. Despite being unable to manipulate Taiyō, unlike swordsmen, she was still physically conditioned and could hold her own against most low tier swordsmen. She dropped to her knees beside Kurumi and examined her injuries, noticing that she had passed out. The elder sibling looked behind her, where the sand Dragon had spawned and saw nothing. 'She's gone....' She thought to herself as she sighed, a powerful threat had awoken somehow.
