Rose's pov
They say the first day of college is enjoying the day because you get no homework and you met all your friends but for me, nothing like that happened, I thought teachers won't give me much homework but I was damn wrong my whole day will end just completing up my work.
I walked outside towards my house direction where I saw Xavier folded his arms and standing near his car, I forgot that I told him to pick me up from college I walk towards him as he saw me he smiled, waving his hand to me.
"You were standing here from all this time?" I asked and he nods. " Yeah I was here just in case John could do something .. " he says, opening the front door of the car for me. I thank him and sat inside the car and he sat beside me in the driver's seat "Do you like to have coffee with me?" he asks, shocked did just ask me for a coffee with him? Oh My God, how could I refuse him? "Yeah sure". I reply trying to stay normal not letting my stupid feelings take over me.
We stopped at Starbucks, he orders coffee for himself and a large burger and chocolate milkshake for me, to be honest, my stomach was shouting for food. I haven't eaten my lunch in college because of rascal john. I saw Xavier he was on his phone from the time we met most of the time he spent on his phone, Only God knows what he does on his phone, I know it's not my concern but if he took a girl on lunch than he should have to focus on her instead of phone.
Wait? What the hell I am thinking? He is my dad's assistant and I want him to focus on me? What kind of feelings have taken over me that I am only thinking about both men I just met today first Xavier than adam.
Xavier cleared his throat, making me came out of my thoughts " Thinking something?" He asks putting back his phone on the table, I shook my head And our orders arrived and without thinking anything I dug in.
Legends say that if you are hungry then any food tastes good and it's damn true I am just kept eating my burger and drinking milkshake not even care to glance at Xavier who was watching me curiously.
After finishing the food that was in my mouth I finally decided to ask why he's looking at me like that " Is something on my face?" I asked and he nods laughingly before responding to me, he takes his phone and starts taking my pictures, I just sat there watching him confusingly "cheese" he said and I smiled. "You got chocolate milkshake mustache," he says and before I could do anything, he cleans chocolate mustache with his thumb and licks his thumb, my face was turning red with what he did now "You should have to tell me before taking the pictures," I said trying to look normal to avoid the sudden feeling I got. " If I told you earlier I would never get such cute and beautiful pictures of yours" he winks at me in the last sentence, my eyes went wide he can't post my bad pics I threw some tissue paper balls on him, he easily catches it." I will post this picture on Instagram I am sure you will get thousands of likes," he said, I stood up from my seat and tried to snatch his phone but he caught my hand, his grip was tight but comfortable enough because it wasn't hurting me.
He sighed defeated. "I was just joking, I won't post anywhere," he says laughingly, my mouth hangs open in surprise, I shook my head in disbelief he just joked with me?.
"Do you want to go home now?" He asks and I nod my head, It's already 4 clocks in the evening if I stay here some more time I am sure mom will call me and ask questions like 'Where are you right now?', 'What taking you so time to reach home?' Blah blah blah but she will ask me anyway.

Xavier dropped me in front of my aunt's house, our whole ride went in silence but I seriously enjoyed today "Take care and don't forget to complete your homework " he said, I sighed in irritation is it really important for him to remind me " Thanks for reminding me" I reply in bored tone and he chuckled.
But he's right I need to do my pending work, after saying bye to him I walked towards the house and before I could ring the bell, my mom and aunt open the door hurriedly after seeing their faces, I think they just raced. They both were breathing heavily. I run towards the kitchen and brings two glass of water for them, they drink all in a single gulp. " Who was that guy?" Mom asked, I know she is talking about Xavier and I can't tell her the truth that he works for dad otherwise she will end up killing me and then herself.
"What are you doing Jennifer she just arrived at least let her take a breath, " aunt Mariel said, saving me from mom's questions, Mom sighed defeated, and went to the kitchen to make dinner. " But you have to tell me who's he," the aunt said, I give her an annoyed look, she Chuckled and I directly went upstairs towards my room.
I throw my shoes on the floor and bag on the desk before comfortably relaxing on the bed, now I am feeling dead tired, after gaining some energy I started doing my homework before going for dinner.
And don't how I fell in deep sleep my eyes are complaining that they don't want to open for a while but they won't understand I have homework to do.
I laid on the bed and let the sleep take over me but What's this? A dream or I am here in real?
