Chapter 10 - (2-1) Coincidence Reaction

Part 1: Coincidence Reaction

Abruptly, my fortitude convulsed into a cold blaze, running around the body. Ice cubes were buckling and clanking against the glass storm. My mind dismissed into two sensations of waking and dreaming. I heard numerous voices that didn't converse in tangible form. Some whispering, some mumbling.

My feet were rambling in duskiness. Sand loaded gradually into my chest, I drowned under.

Screams and peeps touched upon my skin, as I was getting scratchy nausea of insecurity. My face flickered to gold coins, legs pumped into rats, and my body dropped into endless-spiral.

Blood rained the space.

A cat leaped at a distance, cheering and dancing while tossing flowers. A snake was falling from bottomless-ceiling and snatched my nose. Black, blue, black again, and red. The color switched like that without provocation.

Everything engulfed toward the feline mammal, it settled. The flowers burned into purple. The cat lost limbs, slowly turned into bones, expanded into a bigger size. Jumped toward here, my body intruded into a giant skull's mouth.

I shocked and reverberated. My chest had something crushed from the top. Glimpse at first awake, my hand caught a glass of orange right before it hit my head.

"Stop that." A woman yelled at the door.

A little girl stood beside me, tried pouring the orange juice into my mouth when accidentally it slipped as a woman appeared. I caught the glass.

On my chest, a black cat with sneaky yellowish-eyes quietly taking a nap.

"Don't disturb other patients. Go now before I bury your favorite-pills in today's lunch."

The girl plucked cat off me, fled without heed to the warning.

I touched my forehead, sweats pouring a lot. It fluttered to overheat. Did I get sick? My palms opened and reopened. No weirdness. I felt a million better from yesterday. No tired. No pain. No nausea anymore.

"Sorry for the childish game. She's just a bit lonely with only her age around." The nurse, Felose, had dressed differently. She had a thick robe that laced with golden thread. Her blond hair spread down from an artless hat. There was a similar sign of love-heart on the uniform, though a bit offbeat than before.

Did I end up in a diverse reality? My hand reached for the wrist to check bromuter's time, but it wasn't there. My eyes ransacked around the hospital smell-alike and noticed an object rested on the cupboard. I exchanged with the orange juice.

A ring. An unfamiliar one. The gem shone in yellow as if was imitated a real-gold. If I zoomed carefully, it tattooed with a symbol. The ring was identical that sparked on her finger.

"Is it yours?" I glanced.

"No. It yours."

Without unconscious, I was somehow transported into Rune Reality.

"No. I'm fine." I refused her aid to position me up. "Where I am?"

"Well, the hospital." Felose continued cleaning and organizing fruits of a basket and remaining leftover after devoured by the girl.

I knew that already. "Specifically, where?"

"Cigriaum Hospital in Aivena City."

Aivena City supposed to attach within Siqura Selvona's Worldline. It couldn't be I was still in Steam Reality.

Closing my eyes, I depended on feeling to guide me. This seemed hard. But as master of world subject, World Blueprint had a unique ability when coming to blueprint territory. Which meant, I could detect disturbance occurred within an area no matter how far. Considering I installed one on Siqura, my mind tickled from the reaction. Siqura was here, somewhere in this reality. If I converged more, I could pinpoint her real-time location.

"Felose." Another nurse merged. "Doctor needs you in Operation Room."

"Ah. I'm in my way."

The enigma was why I jumped together with Siqura. I had an overwhelming influence on ownership. Siqura wasn't able to carry me here. Even I did the jump during unconscious, I couldn't believe I was that such rash decision.

"Do you have a stomach ache or something?"

Wait a minute? Why Felose was here too? Did she connect to Siqura's Worldline too? Or was it my fault?

"Felose."

She was holding a glass of clean water and a crusty-pill. "Yes?"

"Do I know you?"

"We met in prison, right?"

The event seemed equivalent.

"Sorry." I consumed tablet-pill and gulped one glass of water. "I think, I lack fresh air."

"Fine... Just take the left hallway. You should find the cafeteria before the entrance."

Wandering out, I sneaked at hidden-corner and activated World Vision. One second was enough. However, even it was short, the glow gave away my unnatural presence if it currently was night or dark.

I memorized information in that instant. And I stuck with even more queries.

It looked like my World Value dropped tremendously from last time. Which implied, it was difficult to determine if I jumped from Steam Reality into Rune Reality through my will or Siqura's. But if World Value was that flat, it could happen.

What I worked up for?

Proceeding to the cafeteria for a coffee, I ignored the matter about my patient-attire. Accordingly, I didn't have money. When voting to revert toward the ward, someone clashed with my ken. We both delayed before leaned back.

"Waltren?"

"Riurian?"

We both stepped outside with greeting conversation, sitting on the bench, steadily progressing upon the foremost subject. He bought me a coffee while it happened.

A roof of a wooden frame was environed by a garden of flora. Few harmless-bugs cruised above the best spot at the flowers to absorb the sweetness of nectar. Most flowers were submerging under sunshine which reflected against by brisk of dew.

Some patients were strolling around with nurses, families, and friends. Environment healed simultaneously with the daze of forest components, without said forest rune inscribed tiny on every wooden-pillars. The runic symbol had a masterpiece of one form spoke thousand of words.

Unlike some other languages which were written as left-to-right, up-to-down, or vice versa, runic language could have many runic letters but when coming to penning, it cluttered to a spot, shaping into one new composition.

For illustration, one combination could yield a thousand explanations as equal as a complete manual book. One runic symbol was all necessary to describe a sentence, paragraph, or maybe ten volumes at once.

Wouldn't it become too compact?

Lamentably, when two letters combined, it formed to another letter which again to another. When I developed to understand the runic language, it took a whole lifetime and still found a lot to learn. Very burdensome.

This kind of world that my friend, Riurian, lived on. Through marriage into a royal family, Riurian was nobbled as a king in the Feliner Kingdom. He and her wife were a member of Brainxus. But only Riurian owned one of Imperfect Blueprint called Ore Blueprint.

"It will irksome to explain the whole." I breathed a sigh. "I encountered some struggle."

"You still not done with the soldiery?"

"Nah. I resigned that already."

I didn't sure how others gazed at us, but I presented an example of father and son. I joined Brainxus a bit late, therefore most of the members were distance in a few years than me.

I painted Riurian as a classical musician. Born in a family of pro, he ruled almost every instrument if I provided him only several days of practice. Nevertheless, it was undeniable when come to the high-level violin.

And such, despite walking in open with two knights: man and woman, he wore like violinist almost all the time. On his laps, there was a waxed-violin drafted in yellow. The art sculptured in cursive angle, united in numerous series of black and brown.

At the below side of it, a small runic figure settled there with an effect that I had no idea. Probably to make melody better or something.

"What it's all about?" I said, motioning toward it.

"Ah, this?" He patted the violin as if was a kitten. "It's a volunteer job. Being in the castle all day could destroy a perception outdoor. So I tour hospitals, churches, or some places, playing interesting pieces based on location."

Ever since last I saw him, he always bore red-eyes that chase afar from the truth. It might have to do with {Death Game} I read in the newspaper at that time. He smiled but to me, it seemed he ran away from something that he could nevermore redo. And he relieved all his struggle paid off.

After all, I had the same experience with my parents. Withal, I halted myself from further poking. As so, for protecting a relationship which I built upon on him.

I sipped coffee can which manufactured from leaves. It was technology from Alchemy Reality. From otherworld travelers, most people would visit Rune Reality before Blueprint Reality. Even they could travel between worlds, it didn't mean everyone knew or could. This was due unforeseen danger lurking in Dimension Gate.

"By the way, Riurian, how long have you come to Aivena City?"

"Hm? Perhaps, ever since I become king."

"I regret to express this but the city deems to exist in the Seventh World."

"..." Riurian's eyes and mouth shot open. "W-What a terrific power." He addressed to my World Blueprint. "I even have a memory eating at the bakery shop down the street with Caroline and my daughter, Alicia."

"Oh, Alicia? You already have a third?"

"Yes. I'm a lucky man."

The knight passed a letter to him.

"Before I disremember, this is an invitation for Alicia's birthday but even I wanted to say this was all about, I urged you to attain into my palace ahead. I had been trying to contact you since yesterday."

Urgh. Probably, during the kidnapping event.

"What it's all about?"

"No. Not here. It's better if you come and see by yourself. All of Brainxus's members had been delivered likewise. Though, Reylaw appeared had something to deal with and can't leave First World. But others agreed."

"Understood." I raised as he did before. "I will be there," I peeked the invitation letter, "huh? This is today?!"

"You read wrong. The event was an invitation for all. The letter is a privilege to stay in the castle instead of rent a room in the city."

"That's not I surprised about. How far the Feliner Kingdom from here. Wouldn't it take one day on a horse?"

"Well, if you get ready now, we can hop into my carriage. Maybe, yours could do something."

Even among trusty-members, Reylaw forbid from talking about the secret of Imperfect Blueprints to anyone included between us. As I didn't know much about his Ore Blueprint, Riurian also had limiting-knowledge about my World Blueprint. Everyone assumed I had a teleportation ability because of {World}.

"No. I require to prepare something else beforehand."

"Of course. But I hoped you can hurry, as I required {yours} for something serious."

World Blueprint? "I never late." However, Reylaw didn't put in the rule that prevented members from asking for help. What Riurian wanted with my blueprint?

"Haah...," Riurian caressed concrete wall, "it's going to end, huh..."

"If you believe the memories are part of yourself, then even I fix everything to default, another city might be constructed here. I made things appear and disappear but never manipulate memories."

"You blundered a secret, are you?"

"It's...fine." I sipped coffee and averted my eyes. "Still within rules."

* * *

Packing my suitcase, most of my pieces such as clothes and other gadgets still secured. There was a dust of sand trailing out. I had to flap my trophy-clothes to rid it off. Where it originated from?

I recalled a dream where my chest filled with sand. It added an attribute of erzon xen(deja vu).

I didn't know where my original clothes and phone had gone, at least I still had my synchronized-gun. It still wrote Steam Reality, I might forget to turn it back. With little shook, it altered to a combat knife and description of Rune Reality. It had seven word-runes that molded into an ace unit of runic sentences, one whole shape. Every glyph had its effect. The setting could be switched with a small gear rotation on the hilt. At the bottom, there was a crystal ball of red that served as energy to the runes.

My profession after soldier remained unchanged as a hunter. With my old skills, I used to search for some animals in the forest and sold skinned-drops to the merchant.

Furthermore, anything I inserted in the suitcase wouldn't modify even I jumped around realities. This particularly was developed so it would bring along with my existence, although I wasn't sure where the ring synchronized from.

What placement I had were military uniforms, packed with three types. The first splatted with distinct tones of green to blend in a forest area, second for a snowy terrain, and last for a desert field. I used to take a mission near the ocean, but easily got sick when riding a boat, the top command shifted my position back to the forest. I settled with the green one.

"This brings back," "recall." I stared at a dog tag. My mind strayed whether I shall wear or not. Shoved into my pocket, I seated a cap on my head.

I wished to speak with Felose before left. The nurses said she had an emergency calling and would be inaccessible until tomorrow. I could always come here later.

The money I saved in the suitcase had a reducing amount than before. My first stop was a bank. It provided no exception between realities since with World Blueprint, the money I deposited in Alien Reality was automatically transferred here as this world currency.

I grabbed out steam-diskette which should be applied to the bromuter and activated World Blueprint for replacement. It transformed into an adventurer license, shaped of a card. The details were like age, job, rank, class, skill...something relevant to my worth. It served as a diploma or certification instead of an identification card.

"How much?"

"400000 veiz," I said.

Veiz was a currency utilized for the Veizralia Kingdom in Magic Reality. As it jumped around, World Blueprint somehow preferred to bind the currency name for an unknown reason. Veiz was equal to perfectly one gold piece weight.

Figuring my money briefly, I stashed inside a purse as I went out. All of sudden a standby man lanced an arsenal attack with magic arrows and grabbed the purse away. Blocked with the suitcase, a flash bomb soon clenched across my face through a guarded-post at the front bank. One light screamed at the scene.

Through shrilling second, I installed World Territory on him and stole his pocket.

The ringing stopped after three seconds, it didn't hold for long. My eyes progressed around the street and the roofs. The man was faster, he vanished without a trace.

Guards didn't move, shielding the bank. And as for the patroller ― police ― he felt wearisome to chase already gone thief, so he marched in an opposite direction like someone who blind. Civilians and adventures could only stare for a moment before retiring to their lives.

"Don't worry." One of the adventures was out from the street and hit my back. "I'm sure he already buy an expensive beer." A young man with a greatsword twice of his height pinned behind.

There were other four persons nearby with him. At one glance, they all were adventurers which technically an independent-soldier. They earned money for every dangerous quest broadcasted in Adventurer Guild.

"My name ― hey where are you going?"

I strolled away. From their act alone, probably asking me to join their adventurer party. I had no time.

Charged World Blueprint, I tracked the territory that I planted on the thief. He was quick and sneaky. I couldn't chase him without Vilvua.

While I was scanning through people, I inspected the adventurer card I stole from the thief during distraction. It was better than nothing.

"Evana Colt." I reread the card. "Job class: Thief Lv 7. Obviously. Hmm... Rank: Adamantium. That's unexpected."

Copper, Iron, Silver, Diamond, Platinum, Mithril, Orichalcum, and Adamantium. The more valuable the ores, the stronger the weapon it would be. And thus, it was used as material to create the card and rank determination. As far as I could remember, Adamantium rank would be the strongest adventurer. Even though, I got feeling I forget some ore rank there.

It felt suspicious. If he was that strong, why he didn't add a job class of a silent assassin or a thunder samurai? Did this card fabricate? With my insufficient access to the adventurer business, one required to have many job classes to fetch credibility. However, in this card Thief class only was here.

Well, some people preferred to hide their abilities. I was sure he hid during the report.

I turned back. "Why are you still stalking me?"

"Well, maybe you ―"

" ― don't need."

"But we have an arch wizard and ―"

"― don't need."

I fended them off after abused ten minutes running around through the back alleys. It wasn't easy. His arch wizard had a magic spell that could locate a person within a certain range.

Shall I withdraw a new transition?

I tempted to conceal my existence, my eyes caught against a crowd that blocked the walkway. The thief, Evana Colt, definitely took this path. The whole plaza was filled with many kind jobs and classes, all expressed dissatisfaction and tedium.

At the most front to my right, there was a gold shop that produced many golden accessories. It shut tied regardless of how other shops opened.

"Green guy! Where are you?"

I slipped through the adventures who tried to sell resources to the gold shop. "Accuse me. Sorry. Please." I squeezed as hard as possible, my big body and greenish attire had made me a sheep in a wolf den.

Finally broke out, I rolled toward a stone-bridge that led to the next section of the city. But I braked, skated, then hanged at the edge before fall. Some pebbles dropped to the river, I could hear steps crossed the bridge in the background of a water bank. I sighed relief when they went.

"I should buy a new shirt at least." Let off my hand, I lurched toward the slant wall, coasted down onto the platform next to the river. My foot landed right in front of one of the old sewers. Only this one seemed broken.

Only for a moment before low water blushed out from the sewer. World Blueprint showed that the planted territory on Evana was here.

It locked. The iron gate secured pretty well for a leftover. Few mossy and sands littered. I couldn't see further inside.

Did he take another route?

I opened my suitcase and picked an EDC kit, equipment of multi-tools. The kit had a portable grip size, making it easy to carry anywhere.

Twisted the center part, my thumbs slid two switches that popped. Its surface automatically unsealed, one tiny caliber pointed out and another red button. I clicked like a small pistol, a red laser resonated in high frequency.

It didn't work. Probably, some rune prevented it.

Investigating nearby, I modified my existence as the thief, cost me 7 hours for 7 minutes. My hand suddenly unable to hold iron bars, it went through. I stood with my knees, faced up. There was a rune...I couldn't read. But this might the reason for the gate.

There was a contrast between blueprint territory for 77 hours and 7 hours.

With 7 hours I could only produce a new World Territory about one fven(meter) radius. Due to the specialty of World Blueprint, the territory could adapt to the size of the object up to seven fven. However, this only made the territory stayed in one place. It couldn't follow the object.

The reason for an extra 70 hours despite still 7 minutes lifetime was to cause the blueprint territory to follow the object.

That was why, the moment my whole body left the World Territory behind, my existence as Evana Colt returned to normal and then some security activated. I heard a loud bang from the end of the tunnel, water raised to my knees' level, up and up in a hurry. It echoed with late-rats, some swam and others drown.

"This is going to hurt,"

Created a 77 hours-World Territory on me, I modified existence against the water. As a result, water rushed passing me but unable to enter within the territory. Since the force from the water didn't touch my body, it wasn't authorized to drive my territory to back.

I became a moving fort.

Running opposite of the flow, I browsed around to see where this hidden trap coming from before the territory materialization's lifetime was over. Penetrated a long tunnel, my eyes bounced left and right, I analyzed three runes inscribed neared the door.

I picked my combat knife then stabbed to the stone-walls, messed up the runic slabs. Sound muffled, the water level drained to the hole on the ground. The runes pulled water from there.

There was not much I understood about runes. But I was sure the runes handled the entrance, the trap trigger, and the water activation. Since the person couldn't compound three runes into a unit stamp, it synthesized from an amateur.

The wooden-door loosed. Entered inside, I gawked at the brick-floor. There were fresh mossy footprints from shoes. It pointed straight to the bridge over the main sewer. All water noises spread to various tunnels from this spot, I located at the center of this place.

Since no one nearby, I switched on my World Vision and saw other existences behind a thick wall. Every one of them formed a greyed circle on the floor. I didn't perceive the shape of the objects. It could be rats. I only realized it was human because Evana Colt was there too.

On the other hand, the footprints furnished a separate location. I had to take a long road.

After dodging traps on the way such as trip mines, trapdoors, and poisoned scorpions, I leaned on the wall when I noticed the sound of spilled coins. Two voices engaged about their shares, then one voice yelled to force them to work.

Peeked at the corner, there was one huge box coming from the ceiling and caught only by one of them. A lot of coins messed around like a treasure lair, decorated whole smelly sewer.

As I scouted the area, I discovered Evana sitting on a mountain of gold coins, counting the money inside my purse. His face covered with a red mask, his eyes admired to one coin like someone fall in love.

I could breach in and took it. But it wasn't a smart thing to do. Crouched, I sneaked toward Evana, rotated my combat knife, and slowly placed in front of his neck.

He froze.

"I'm sure this is illegal," I said. "However, I will turn blind and fetch my money. That's all."

All men in thief appearance stopped, a box descended from the hole in the ceiling, contacted with the floor, and it cracked open. More gold coins flowed out.

"Hey, do your part right." The man above said.

"Who this weirdo?" One of them grabbed out a sword.

I glared at him.

"What?"

"Do you think it's weird too?"

"Why the hell should I care?" He advanced toward me and established a slash.

"Wait-wait-wait!" Evana said, resisted seeing his friend didn't care about his safety.

Even I dragged Evana to back, showed the knife able to slice his skin, the man continued to attack me, I had no choice but to push him over and ducked to the side.

His sword stabbed my purse that dropped by Evana and swung to my face. Gold coins discharged out on my vision, through the gap, I saw he scooted toward me at my blind spot.

I sought to tackle with my combat knife but his mate cast some form of magic and summoned a swarm of rats as a distraction, they climbed and bit my legs.

All of sudden, erzon xen ticked on my heart, I recalled the next sequence from the dream this morning. If I was right.

Skipped to the back, I knocked my two shoes together to rock off the rats and sparked EDC kits into a grapple. The moment wire launched and attached to the ceiling, trapdoor spread, all rats flew down into tunnel on the floor with the sound of water splash.

The man halted his footsteps before the trapdoor. The one with a bow steered toward me, prepared to free an arrow.

There was a dead old-man behind the pillar, his pocket had a particular lens for a purpose to verify the value of gold.

Closer to him, there was a corpse of a very young woman who had huge eyes that crying. A pile of wears related to female-apparel had been buried on top of her. The scenery triggered something inside my head.

"Who killed them?" I said in deep amplification.

"Someone, you know?" The man poked his sword attempted to reach me.

"I see." I glanced. "You all are very unlucky today."

"Hah?"

I swung my legs and stepped over to the sword, then kicked his head. He retreated, holding his head. He opened his eyes, I altered the setting of the combat knife and pressed twice before landed behind him.

The man turned around while attack horizontally. But his hand suddenly severed, the sword clanked to the floor. I stabbed his neck before pushed him toward trapdoor. His head banged against the wall before dived into the sewer at the down level.

Arrow fired toward me, I seized with my hand and snapped in half.

The man seemed like a martial art master, came at me with boxing.

Using the CQC military, I pressed the gear switch four times, yellow glows collected, it pierced four spots: thigh, waist, arm, and neck. All happened in one second in the speed of thunder.

All men didn't move. Two of them appeared cautious. One of the above fell back and ran through the front door. I could hear noises from adventurers that waiting in front of the gold shop.

"Tch." The man threw a ball, it crackled like ceramic, smoked exploded. Both of them ran toward the main sewer.

I closed my eyes, recalled his last-known location, then thrust the combat knife. My ears ached as my head but when it dissolved, I ascertained the knife penetrated his neck. I charged correctly from memory.

Only one left if I excluded Evana.

He stayed to pick new arrows and assaulted me with a barricade of the strong treasure box. "How about negotiation ― gah!"

I threw the combat knife to the wall, it bounced straight to his neck from behind.

"How...?"

I tugged blade out and left him in his confusion, began exercising toward Evana.

"Wait-wait-wait!" He crawled back.

I hoisted my knife.

"I'm a woman!"

My knife paused. "So?" I reached his ― her neck.

"I didn't do it!"

"But you can kill them."

"For someone who they didn't care if I die?"

"Then, why you here?"

"Because I didn't have other places to go to."

Every question I gave, she answered quickly.

"Do you need to steal from me if you can rob a gold shop?" I took out her adventurer card and searched for her gender. I realized the card didn't have that information.

"But they think I should have a thin portion since I'm a woman."

"How much?"

"Hah?"

"How much your portion?"

"300000 veiz."

"Good." I offered my hand and she grabbed it. "What are you doing?"

"Eh? I thought ―"

"― give back, 300000 veiz, the total amount."

The money I had in the purse had mixed with the robbery accident. To avoid trouble, I obtained a voyage to another source.

She gabbed her purse, slacking her mouth. "But... But..." Sniffed, she rubbed her tears with her cloak while the mask partly opened. "I work hard to earn this..."

I snatched her purse and estimated with its weight alone. It seemed it missed one or two veiz but it was fair.

"Go away! Take my money away!" I evaded my head when she threw the stolen coins from behind. So, I turned back and flipped her mask.

Her face blushed thick, her eyes already went haywire. Her hood slid down, her short brownish hair flapped out with pointed ears. An elf.

"If something happens down there?" A voice emanated from above. Then the same man who I saw at the bank descended. Together with his party members. "Oh? The green guy."

Evana sobbed, she wiped her cloak to the face.

Five of them looked at me with pity.

"What's befall here?" He said after watched dead men nearby. "Wait, this most wanted list criminal. Did you kill them all?"

I never knew that.

"Ouch...water..." A woman emitted a weak tone behind one of the pillars.

The human with the fox's ears and tail ran toward her with a bottle of water. She still alive it seemed.

I stood and gave him Evana's adventure card. "Ask her and she will tell everything. I leave to you."

"But I don't believe you just ―"

― I sailed away. I just didn't want to deal with laws. There was a different treatment court between civilians and used to soldiers.

Of course, people commenced looking for {the green guy}. Hence, I opened the clothes shop and bought something suitable for the king's daughter's birthday party. The salesman gave me an attire that usually wore by noble. It cost me 250000 veiz.

"Certainly it suits you for such an important occasion." The salesman said.

"Somehow, it...haah, nothing."

The clerk looked worried if I dissatisfied with his service's essence.

By the time I exited from the shop, it was already dark in the sky. I departed, searching for a horse carriage that could send me to Riurian's kingdom.

On the way, I met a girl who woke me up in the hospital this morning. Her black cat hauled a bunch of flowers behind its back idled beside, playing with its tail. The girl currently stared at the beggar on the street next to the lamp post. A light rune was inside the glass.

"Mister." She said to me. "Please give him some money."

I peered at the sky. I remembered the dream, after a cat with flowers, snake supposed to rain down.

"Mister! Are you lissstttteeeeennnnnn..."

Surrounding turned slow, gradually until it suspended. The white lamp became grey as the cat did so. Lessen people on the street stood in place, not a muscle budged.

And then it happened. Pink blueprint scrolls mass-spawned from the sky, coming like tempest or snake. Faster and wild as if when Worldline shifted.

While I could move normally, I traced the scrolls that dived toward the beggar and rotated on top of his head in a group.

Reylaw used to say blueprint value on one man was limited to one lifetime. By using Imperfect Blueprint, it drained our soul or lifetime making us closer and closer to death.

The moment I registered as the owner of World Blueprint, he said I automatically became an observer. Which meant, I didn't have freedom like stealing other World Value, erased existence as I wished, or making a reputation for myself. It was impossible because of the bad consequence always higher than the benefit.

However, there was a chance where the owner could use power with reduced values. It called blueprint opportunity, which called World Opportunity.

In this event, it didn't come every day, every month, or even every year. Maybe not even a decade. It was so rare that almost nonexistence it was my second time of encounter. If I didn't do something fast, my World Value remained fix in its low value. But if I did, I could mining value equaled to one man that I could exhaust for using the more powerful function of World Blueprint.

That was why, when the world returned to normal and propelled me out from the blueprint world, I marched toward the beggar.

"― nnnn?" The girl pulled my sleeve.

I crouched, held his hand instead of tossed money.

"Thank you...sir?" His beard whitened as his hair, long and untreated. He attempted to feel his hand if some gold coins were there.

But I didn't let him do so, concentrated on World Blueprint. "No, thank you. The pleasure is mine." Extracted my value, without care for attention I activated World Vision and saw the number decreased from mine while skyrocketed for the man. The entire sum was one of fourth from my World Value.

A long World Scroll connected from mine to his chest, every second it increased, people on the street exploring toward here. The aura of his face, his presence, his appearance, flashed like water reflection under the moon.

"Who that gentleman?"

"Where?"

"There."

"Ah. You right. I didn't see him just now."

I was sure they didn't mean me. From realization, morphed into attraction.

"Who are you?" One young woman who seemed like a rich lady neared toward the beggar. She didn't realize me because my World Value set low.

From sympathy, it born into a desire for help.

"Why you sleep here?" The other man moved closer. "If you have no place, how about a drop in my inn. I'm sure my daughter can cook something for you."

"Don't steal my attention. Sleep at my home instead. I'm the best bread maker in the city."

Eventually, everyone started to grab out a lot of money and tossed it to him. Some attempted to lure him toward their home.

"Thank you. Thank you." He stood when the cup over-filled with coins. There was even someone who threw a gold bar. He could only say thanks for who know aided him.

I stepped back, watched the sky. World Scrolls bolted straight to my chest, from all different sides like my nose.

World Value had seven digits. When it surpassed, the seventh digit would be turned to {X}, sixth, fifth, and then so on. It translated as unknown or too high for calculation of the right number. I had about four {X}s. With that amount more than my original value, I could return to my research about the genome in my suitcase.

Turned off World Vision, black, red, and blue clothes, flocked around the beggar, started to appear like a famous actor. I recalled again the dream.

If everything was correct, what with the skeleton?

I left the place as quickly as possible because since my World Value exceeded him, I would overwrite his existence. Albeit I could use World Blueprint, it was too shocked for me to do anything.

When the first time I received World Opportunity?
