I quickly swing towards Merlin but stop inches from his face.
"No, a clone combined with a delayed fireball. Clever."
I slowly scan the area, carefully watching. While looking around, Arthur lunges towards me. I easily grab his wrist, crushing it and slamming him to the ground. I glare at the platinum sword, then kick Arthur away. He gets launched hundreds of feet away, slamming through several barely standing buildings.
I sigh and speak up, loud enough that my voice echoes around the destroyed area.
"Don't make me actually try to win, you're only making this harder than it needs to be."
I wait a few seconds, seeing Arthur stand up from some rubble. Merlin's voice echoes passed me.
"[Channel 10]! [Wrath 10]! [Field of Anger 10]! [Bloody Wraith 10]! [Field of Life 10]."
I watch purple and red energy almost float around Arthur as he pops his shoulder and looks to me.
"Listen, whoever you are. It doesn't matter how strong you are by yourself, my magic combined with Lord Arthur's new immortality are an unbeatable combo!"
Merlin shouts, his voice seemingly coming from everywhere at once. I close my eyes, understanding that the [Field of Anti-Magic] must have been taken down for him to cast those spells.
"[Planar Presence 10]."
I see the entire city, along with every living lifeform. The blue glow of life still surround Vex and Blankk, but a dim blue glow surrounds Azeroth. I see Arthur lunge towards me, but before he reaches me I find ten Merlin clones.
I open my eyes and attempt to block Arthur's punch, but it snaps my wrist back and continues through. I narrowly lean to the side.
"No weapons? Very well, I'll take you up on that challenge."
I teleport into the air, using [Telekinesis] to keep me floating.
"Since you seem so proud in your magical abilties, I'll show you the difference between the mortal magic you were gifted, and the immortal magic I can use. [God of Slaughter 11]."
Arthur's eyes widen, and I feel a collective shock from all ten of the Merlin clones.
[Strength Increased 500X]
[10 Seconds Remaining]
"Damn, human bodies have time restraints. The system still protects the weak I see."
I instantly teleport down to Arthur, and block his attack as he swings backwards.
"This is the absolute highest level spell that can be used, well, in current circumstances anyways."
I crush his wrist amd rip his arm off. He swings with the other arm, but I slap it away, leveling nearby buildings with the force of the impact.
"Current strength should be somewhere around twenty-two billion, understand you have lost, and know true despair."
I grab his skull, slamming it to the ground.
"But as long as that [Area of Undying] spell is active inside of you, I can't kill you."
I mumble under my breath.
"Fine, [Clone 11]."
Twenty clones appear around me. I nod, ten of them running towards Merlin while the other ten ragdoll and completely overwhelm Arthur. Screams echo around as the Merlin clones scream in fear.
[8 Seconds Until Buffs Wear Off]
In less than a second, the final Merlin clone dies, and Merlin's location is known to me. I teleport to him and place my hand on his head. We're in a small concrete structure over 100 feet from the battlefield. Merlin stares at me, his entire body shaking.
"If you have spells like that, then why don't you just cancel the magic and kill Arthur?"
He stares at me, truly confused. I laugh, almost hysterically.
"Well, where's the fun in that? I like to play with my prey. But, I guess you're right. In about five seconds, I'll be severely weakened. So I should just end this fight."
Merlin starts to speak up, but I crush his skull. Black flames wrap around him and turn him to ash.
"Rest well, you flattered me by using my magic."
I teleport back to the battlefield and walk over to Arthur, whose been ripped apart by the clones. I dispel all the clones and quickly step onto his chest.
[5 Seconds Until Buffs Wear Off]
"Bad news, looks like playtime is over. So I'm going to wrap this up."
I punch my hand into Arthurs chest and slowly pull his heart out. It races wildly in my hand as his eyes widen.
"They did all that work for her damned sword, when all they had to do was just let me fight. I will never understand mortals."
I grip his heart and smile wickedly.
"[Absolute Negate]. It's basically the eleventh level of [Field of Anti-Magic]."
Arthur starts breathing heavily, clearly panicking. He reaches out and grabs the platinum sword, then slams it towards me. I lean away from the weapon, dodging it and glaring at Arthur.
"Even at death's door, you still fight?"
I slowly tighten my grip on his heart, watching it throb wildly in the palm of my hand. Arthur opens his mouth to speak, but I crush his heart. His last sounds, are screams and wails of agony and fear.
I smile, his blood curdling screams soon turning to ringing silence. I wipe the blood from my hand off on a stone next to me and pop my neck.
"Damn, I'm weakened. I should rest before I go and kill Grim."
I say quietly, the buff wearing off and blood rolling down my lip and chin. A little blood pools up in my eyes and nose as well, but I wipe it all away. My attention quickly turns as I hear rubble moving. I look over, seeing Blankk sitting beside Azeroth. The building that collapses on Vex is shaking slightly, and suddenly a rock gets knocked out of the way.
Vex emerges, his clothes almost conpletely torn off. He looks around, but stands in shock when he sees me sitting on Arthur's dead body. I stand up and glare at Vex, him staring back at me. He walks towards me angrily, summoning his black and blue sword to his hand.
"Nevereth."
