Chapter 82 - Absolute Dominance [Chapter 82]

I smile and chuckle, quickly dropping my sword behind me and popping my neck.

"Fine, I didn't want to fight seriously. But that fiery arrogance, assuming you can read me, will lead to your defeat."

I proudly claim, quickly cracking my knuckles and getting ready to charge.

So I know all spells, eh? Then how about a lighting fast fight, [God of Slaughter 10].

[Strength Increased 300X]

[95% of HP Consumed Per Second]

I smile, knowing I won't fall unconscious from one second of using the spell. I take one lighting fast step behind her, dragging my foot as to not move passed her by accident. I pull my fist back and smile evily, seeing everyone moving slower than usual.

I throw a punch as hard as I can at the back of her head. I suddenly hear a female voice from around me, but can't pin down where.

"It's not worth it."

I look back, seeing the distraction caused me to narrowly miss my mark. I cancel the buffs as a massive boom echoes around us. I blink a few times, noticing a path of destruction in the direction where I threw the punch. Fallen trees and a massive trench go nearly a hundred feet away.

I grit my teeth, almost angry that I missed. I feel an intense pain rip through my entire body as I fall to one knee.

"S-shit, hadn't considered how massive the d-drawbacks of going all out would b-be."

I mumble, gasping for breath every few words. My heart pounds, feeling like it could explode. I hear a thud next to me, raising my eyes to see the woman unconscious on the ground. I force myself to my feet, gritting my teeth and clenching my fists.

"Never."

I muster, quickly trying to compose myself.

"You could never read me, don't flatter yourself by thinking you have any form of strength even comparable to me."

I manage to stumble forward, slowly healing. I notice the ring of warriors bowing before me. I quickly look around, confused by what they're doing. One quickly stands up and starts back into the village.

"I will fetch the druid. He will heal the injured."

The warrior quickly moves behind the wall and I look to my group.

"Druid?"

I ask, seeing almost everyone shrug. Blankk once again has his eyes glow blue while I pick my sword up.

"The Druids of the Grim Tribe are the healer class members who also are in charge of the food supply and agricultural aspects."

Blankk shakes his head and blinks a few times.

"Huh, neat."

He mumbles, all of us staring at him. Vex speaks up.

"The more it happens, the more I can only infer that Blankk is now somehow connected to The Nexxus. I honestly don't know how it's possible."

Vex mumbles while staring at Blankk's eyes. Soft footsteps behind me cause me to turn around, to the sight of an incredibly muscular man tending to those we defeated. His entire body is massive, like he's worked out everyday of his life. He turns to me and smiles.

"Are you alright, I heard that most of the fights were pretty fast, but that doesn't mean you didn't pull a muscle."

His voice is higher pitched and delicate, completely different than his appearance. I stare at him for a moment, then speak up.

"I'm fine, but anyways, we seek passage to Grim. We completed your trial of salad, or whatever."

I hear Vex speak up behind me.

"Trial of Skalad! Don't be rude, we are the guests right now."

I hear Vex, but don't care about what he's saying. The Druid nods and quickly starts chanting to himself. I watch everyone slowly stand up and stretch, my own pain also seemingly vanishing into air. The woman quickly looks to me and smiles.

"Truly, you are strong. But still, you seem weaker than Grim. I will take you there now, be quick!"

She quickly starts running, but we all easily keep up with her.

She's so slow, if I knew where to go I could be there in a few minutes.

I think while following her by basically speed walking. After nearly thirty minutes of boring speed walking over a path carved through a forest, I hear a faint sound. It rings in the same way my previous punch did, and I quickly smile. We exit the dense trees and see a mountain seemingly appears out of nowhere.

The peak stretches miles off the ground and is jet black all the way down. Upon getting closer, I see the mountain is almost shiny.

"What kind of rock is that?"

Kain whispers, just as intrigued as everyone else. We see bright explosions from within a gap in the stone. We hastily move closer and closer, the air slowly becoming extremely hot. Another blast rips from the cave like structure and blows hot air passed us. I feel my skin tingle from the heat and the woman guiding us drops to one knee.

"I cannot go further."

She says while backing away, sweat rolling down her face. I pay no attention to her as she continues to talk to the rest of the group, only focused on Grim. I quickly dash forward, almost instantly entering the cave and seeing more shiny black stones lining the walls. Each stone looks about thirty feet long and wide.

I quickly see a man punch a stone and whistling to himself. He stops as I step into the room with him.

I pause, almost surprised by the appearance of a name and level.

"Wait, is this guy a boss?"

I mutter under my breath. The man chuckles and turns to me with a proud smile. As he starts to talk, he appears next to me.

"No, you can beat a boss."

My eyes barely move over as his fist meets my face. I get launched back, bouncing off a stone and flying outside the cave.

[-150,000,000 HP]

[+200,000 HP]

I fly passed my group and grind against the grass, slowly rolling into a tree before stopping. My head and vision feels like they are spinning, and upon looking up I see everyone running to me, clearly shocked.
