We all stare at her as she slowly stands up. She props her right hand on the handle of her katana and sighs.
"They're coming up, stupid heroes."
We soon hear footsteps quickly approaching the door. The woman backflips away from the edge and draws her sword. In the same movement, she spins around and drops her sword. Somehow managing to twist her body and kick her sword straight through the open door.
A scream rips from within the door as her sword reappears in her right hand the moment she lands from her jump. We all watch the door closely, the scream persisting.
"We should probably be going. That wasn't an S-Class, thankfully."
The woman says, quickly walking passed us and towards the edge of the building. Before jumping off the ledge, she tosses a small piece of paper to us. I catch it and unfold it, seeing an address within it.
817 King Street, Precinct 3.
We hear more people quickly approaching and quickly lunge off the building. We easily jump seventy feet away from the building. I see Vex reach out to touch everyone, then we all appear on the ground in an alleyway.
"Alright, now what?"
Warren asks while looking to Vex and I. We both look to each other, Vex speaking up.
"I don't think we should go back to Sathric, at least not without a plan on how to deal with that creature."
I quickly hand Vex the piece of paper and he glances at it. He scratches the back of his head and closes his eyes.
"Does that sound like the best idea right now? Side with the villains?"
He asks quietly.
"By what I can tell, this city seems to be a little skewed in it's reasoning."
Warren replies, I quickly look to him and raise an eyebrow.
"Oh? I haven't seen much to be honest, but what have you seen?"
Warren scratches his beard and looks at the sky.
"They didn't stop us like normal guards would in Sathric. It feels like the law here holds much more power than ours, where strong guilds were above the law due to power. I also think that this 'Hero Association' is working alongside their guards, which seems like if guilds worked with the law."
Kain speaks up.
"But do they truly pose a threat? With all of your stats and abilites, they should be as troublesome as wet paper."
I smile and pop my knuckles.
"I could easily take on anyone here, but I'd most likely accidentally kill them."
I proudly declare, Vex rolling his eyes.
"Yeah, that's obvious. But there are other ways to handle problems other than violence and murder."
I laugh at his words.
"Yeah, there is. But, violence is just faster and more effective."
We stare at each other for a moment before he sighs.
"Well, since we really don't have any idea what to do, might as well check out that location."
Vex mumbles, almost sounding defeated. I nod and quickly dash out of the alley. I [Dominate] several people to get accurate directions while everyone walks up behind me.
"You're currently in Precinct one, each precinct is about five miles wide and long. So the area you're looking for is around nine miles away from here, since we're near the outer edge."
I nod and wave to everyone to start moving. Within minutes of dashing through the city, blowing through traffic and crowds, we reach Precinct 3. It doesn't take long to find 817 King Street, which also has several rundown buildings along the road.
A door slides open and we see that woman again. Vex speaks up.
"Is anyone else intrigued by how she got here before us?"
He whispers, I ignore his question and walk towards her.
"Before we let you in, we just want to make sure we aren't wasting our time with you."
I sigh and draw my sword.
"Fine, fine, what do we have to do?"
She points down the road slightly. I look over and see a mountain of a man walking towards us. He stands about 11 feet tall and has large metal gauntlets on his hands.
"Survive against our team muscle for thirty seconds."
She says, smiling innocently. I slowly walk to the large man and stare up at him.
"But don't kill him?"
I ask coldly, looking over my shoulder. She giggles and sits on the steps beside her door.
"I'd recommend fighting back as hard as you can, or else you may find an early grave."
She says proudly. I look over to Vex and smile. He waves.
"If he's a villain, then he know's what he was signing up for, I guess. But don't go all out, it'll draw too much attention."
Vex still sounds hesitant to let me fight, but allows it for some reason. I look back to see a fist coming towards me, but I easily block it with my index finger tip.
[-850 HP]
[+850 HP]
I smile and feel my heart beating anxiously.
"Finally, I almost started to miss the bloodshed. But it does sadden me that you are so weak."
I grab one of the large man's fingers and smile wickedly. I sheathe my sword with my other hand and pat his hand as gently as possible, still a cracking sound hits my ears.
"Oh, my bad."
I stare at his hand, bones ripping through his palm.
"[Telekinesis 1]."
I lift him off the ground and float him back slightly.
"[Hellfire 1]."
Black flames rip around, and through him, piles of flesh melting off as the large man doesn't even gasp in pain. I stare at him, almost enraged by his lack of pain. I slam him to the ground, splattering him and releasing the spells.
The woman behind me claps.
"Wow, that was intense. I knew you had to be strong, but that is incredible. You very well could be A-Class or maybe even S-Class around here."
She says, coughing suddenly emanating from the pile of blood in front of me. I watch a small man stand up and shake wildly.
"H-he defeated my brute form!?"
He stares at me, clearly petrified with fear.
"Brute form?"
I reply, the woman behind me quickly moving to me.
"Yeah, it increases his strength to unbelievable heights. While in brute form, his strength is around one-thousand. Truly an amazing Brilliance."
I chuckle to myself, then burst out laughing.
"Only one-thousand? That's so weak!"
I hold my stomach while laughing, both of them staring at me in shock.
