Greg was sure that several men would chase after Zelena. She was young and gorgeous. She had the body of a goddess. Her figure is none of that of a human but immortal. Even after giving birth to a twin, there seem no flaws at all.
And there was something about her he could not explain, but he could sense soft energy exuding from her body. When it reached his heart, he was embraced by her warm love.
'I want to know more about her…' thought Greg.
After having a quick break, the group resumed touring the town. Greg brought them to a fine seafood restaurant for lunch.
"Mommy, I'd like the fish baked with lots of potatoes, broccoli, mushrooms, and carrots!" Aisha's request after pointing out a big tilapia in the pond.
"Great, darling." Zelenia patted her daughter's head. With a smile, she turned to her right and looked at her son, asking him how he wanted the fish to be cooked. "How about you, Janus?"
"I like what Aisha likes, mommy. I love to have baked fish with lots of vegetables too. But I also like to have some fish soup."
Zelenia gazed at her son dotingly. She could not avoid remembering Aelius when his son was a carbon copy of his.
"Alright! The two of you stay here first." She could see the joy exhibited in her children's eyes; thus, she let them continue observing the fish in the pond. "I'll look for the caretaker to fish out our order."
"Okay, mommy!" Both Aisha and Janus were elated that their mom let them stay in the pond longer. They were fascinated to find more kinds of fish. Many of them jumped around or swam swiftly.
Zelenia left and looked for the caretakers, who assisted other customers on the other side of the fishpond near the restaurant. Many customers from neighboring towns loved to eat in this restaurant as they could ensure that the fish they ordered were fresh.
After waiting for a while, their food was finally served, and the twins ate with relish.
Aisha and Janus enjoyed their food at the nearby table while the adults seated separately to discuss their intention of visiting Ridgewood County with Greg. Over the meal, Zelenia hoped to propose the business plan her bosses had prepared.
After Shane and Mikael left behind Dell City, she inquires Xanther about the business proposal they've prepared so that she has more knowledge of the new company the Smith Enterprise planned to put up. Throughout their flight, Xanther explained everything she had to know. Thus, she has more understanding of how to convince Greg's boss to agree with their proposal.
There is no other perfect place, and the Spirit Wind pointing out toward this direction. Hence, she will follow what the Wind Spirit conveys to her.
"So? I heard you wanted to buy the land forest around this area. But that is not something you can do simply." Halfway through their meal, Greg began to inquire. "However, my boss is willing to listen to why you want to purchase the trees in the largest area in our town."
Before Xanther replied to Greg, he glanced at Zelenia, who smiled at him with encouragement.
"Well, the Smith Enterprise and Davis Corporation had merged to form a new company."
"Oh. What kind of company? Why did you choose Ridgewood County when the town is actually dying? Young people were leaving town and fleeing toward the city with the hope of a higher salary. As you could notice, in some places we passed by earlier, several establishments were closed. And soon, there will be more shops out of business. The population here is decreasing and moving to better towns that boom in the passing years."
Xanther and Zelenia shared a knowing look before one of them answered Greg, and it was the latter who explained further.
"The Smith Enterprise and Davis Corporation will enter the Real Estate industry. But before that, we wanted to put up our production factory, and needed the resources to make window frames."
"Window frames? Are you putting up a glass plant?" asked Greg with interest.
"Yes. We are looking for areas that are perfect to build a Glass Plant." It was Xanther who replied this time. He went on, "We've prepared everything already, we even contacted a machinery company and ordered the machines we need for our mass productions, including the equipment and machinery tools to make wooden frames and aluminum frame production. What I am saying is we are producing glass walls not only for real estate houses. It will include projects such as building a whole stadium or a corporate establishment."
Listening to the people from Smith Enterprise, Greg's eyes twinkled with excitement. "Then you need a lot of workers?"
"Yes. We need hundreds of workers to make glass windows and window frames. We need more in the future if we receive more orders. We are not only doing real estate projects. We will also be going to distribute modern designed glass walls and windows across the country. We are already reaching out to more construction firms to get orders from us. Moreover, we also need workers in other aspects of our production…" said Xanther.
"We need engineers and designers, as well," he added.
Zelenia chimed in, "We already secured the lands where we build an extensive community of modern houses. What we need now is a perfect town with an abundance of trees growing in the area to use as frames for the glass walls that were built once we started our billion-dollar housing projects, and Ridgewood County met all the standards we were required for this factory."
They must follow the requirements of the Environmental Protection Agency and other agencies that are strictly monitoring every factory that would not violate the law and regulations such that the raw materials are harmful to the workers and ecosystem.
"Glass Plant, huh? And you need someone to design the patterns, right?"
"Yes. Many clients preferred decorative glasses and laminated ones. We will definitely meet every client's requirements."
Greg remained silent for a long time. After he pondered, he then asked, "Then, who is going to manage this new company?"
Xanther raised his right hand. "I spoke to the Chairman. He agreed to assign me as the director of the new company and look after the Glass Plant."
Hearing this, Greg shifted his gaze to Zelena and queried, "How about Zelena? Is she also going to be transferred?"
Xanther did not like the real meaning of Greg's last query. His tone had a hint of hope that Zelena would choose to work in the new company.
Indeed, Greg was hoping for Zelenia to like Ridgewood County. Once things sort out and his boss accepts the Smith Enterprise's business proposal, then Zelenia and her children can stay here. Although his boss is less bothered by outsiders, maybe he could be convinced.
On the other hand, Zelenia was surprised when Xanther mentioned his transfer. Not only that, she could have a chance to change jobs as well and she need not resign. Somehow, she is already accustomed to working at Smith Enterprise, and Xanther being her boss, is never an issue for her. Having this thought, her eyes spark.
She could purchase a house that is isolated from the rest of the town. Then, by the weekends, she has more time to train Janus and Aisha. But of course, it is still a matter for her to convince the Elves in this town first before anything else. It would be a problem if they would oppose putting up a Glass Plant.
Thus, she needs to convince the elves. Nevertheless, she is confident that the Elven King will give his approval once he sees her sincerity.
Zelenia subconsciously looked at her children, who were enjoying their lunch.
'I think the kids would love to hear the good news. However, until Greg's boss would not let us buy his land, we could not share the good news yet.'
'Well, this place is not bad, Priestess.'
On the other side, Luna leisurely sipped on the tea Kian had served her. Kian is fixing his lunch when he asks Luna what lunch she prefers. Luna only requested a vegetable salad, fruit, and tea.
Zelenia smiled to see that Luna could actually get along with Kian. It was actually rare that Luna would allow someone to get near her or treat a person nicely unless she could see that this person truly had a pure heart. Thus, she understood why Luna didn't like Shane. Her boss is so shameless.
Meanwhile, Xanther cast a meaningful look at Zelenia before he replied to Greg's queries. He could tell that her eyes were twinkling after she heard Greg's inquiry.
He need not guess that she likes the idea of working with him in the new company. Inwardly, he curled his thin lips.
"Of course. Zelena is the best subordinate that I have. She is diligent in her work, and I trust her the most. I would want no one to work side by side with me but her."

DELL CITY
Somewhere on the south coast, the Smith yacht was still sailing around the blue sea.
"What did you say, grandpa?" Shane made an abrupt stand from his chair.
"You heard me correctly," said the chairman. "Xanther will manage our subsidiary company."
"But I am more experienced in running a real estate company!"
"Exactly. You were an expert in it. Thus, I am assigning you to contact our clients. After you succeed in signing the contract for our housing projects, Xanther will produce all the glass windows we need."
"You're saying that…"
"Yup. Xanther will operate the factory, and your job is looking for projects."
"Still, it means I would have less time to be there. It will only be a regular visit to check on things. What I want is that I am the one who is monitoring the production and all." Shane argued with the chairman for one reason. He then added in his head, 'I want to see Luna every day!'
"Grandpa, I want to be assigned to the new company, too." Mikael has no way to be left out. He wanted to be near Zelena; thus, he was willing to work in the factory. "I would not mind working as a machine operator!"
He doesn't like dealing with paperwork, so a labor job is fine for him. Also, he would have no problem if the place was somewhere in a remote town. He has had no problem living a simple life since he grew up in the countryside.
However, hearing this, Shane narrowed his gaze, glaring at Mikael. "You were only giving Miss Henderson a lot of trouble."
"Huh? How could you say that? It was you who was bothering her, even though she was in the middle of work!"
"I am her boss! It is normal for me to give her work to do!"
Once again, the two of them bicker, which lasts longer to end.
'If it were, one of them is a woman. How wonderful it would be!' Thought Chairman Smith.
'Why didn't one of them be born as a girl? If that happens, our family could unite!' Chairman Davis mused.
The two chairmen looked at each other, helplessness appeared on their aging faces. Both shook their heads and then sighed in their hearts with regret.
