On the way to send Anne's sister, Janet to her exam hall, the car met with an accident. Mr. and Mrs. Brown a.k.a Anne's parents were deeply injured and her sister got a shock. Fortunately the place was crowded with students, teachers and other commoners who reacted in time and provided the family the basic help. Janet was rushed to the exam hall by her teachers who were around. Her parents were taken to a nearby hospital. Anne was contacted soon and she rushed over to the exam hall which was 10 minutes from her house. She couldn't think straight. All she had in her mind was, she has to calm down her sister and make sure she's fine. Her sister was shocked to say even a single word. She couldn't force out a cry. The exam which she was giving this year is the board exam. If she missed a single paper, her hard work would be ruined. Janet would deeply regret it. Thus not caring about anyone around, Anne started to fight with her sister, provoked her, told her all sorts of things until Janet came back to her senses and hugged Anne and told her that she'd be fine and she'd write her exam well. The first problem was thus tackled. After her sister went inside the hall, Anne could no longer be strong and she started to cry and cry deeply. She was informed about the gravely accident, her mother lost a lot of blood in the crash as the car was hit from the side and unfortunately she was the one on that side. Janet and her father escaped with minor injuries. The person who suffered the most was her mother. She was still unconscious. Her father, a very calm person, also lost his calm and fought with the doctors. In between the fight, Anne reached the hospital and stopped him. After making sure that her father was fine, she spoke to the doctor about her mother who was still unconscious. The doctor assured her that her mother was unconscious due to the shock. She got no internal injuries. Her surface wounds have been treated and she'll wake up soon. The doctor then told Anne about the does and don'ts and prescribed medicines. After settling up the bills and everything, the seemingly strong Anne then cried and lost her cool. She couldn't figure out what to do, she called her "boyfriend" Stephen Wilson. Stephen was busy doing some assignments he had procrastinated not due to work but because he wasn't interested in doing them and wanted Anne to do it for him. Yes! Like always, he'd call Anne and tell her to help him out because he was busy with "work". (p.s. He would waste his day sleeping and watching movies. He wasn't as hardworking as it seemed. It was his girlfriend Anne who did a lot of work in the background whose credit he took shamelessly. Anne traded hours and hours of her hard work she put in his assignments to get a chance of meeting him for half an hour, as her "boyfriend" was a busy person.
"Anne!!!! Where on earth are you? Do you remember that I have the assignment submission tomorrow? Can you stop procrastinating and work on my thing? Since you've promised me to work on it, can you complete and meet me tomorrow so that I could submit my assignment on time?" Not giving Anne a chance he continued to yell at her until he heard a whimper. Suddenly taken aback, he did not expect Anne to cry on his ranting after all this wasn't the first time he behaved this way. "Ann… what happened baby? I am sorry. I was just stressed out. Hey…. please don't cry…I" cutting his words she said, "Steph my parents.. They… they met an accident... my mom... is un..conscious, my dad isn't .... fine, my sister is in... in shock.. I am hos....hospital.. Steph I don't know what to do...."and started to cry loudly. At this moment, the only thing Anne wanted to hear was that her family would be fine and nothing would go wrong. She wanted to hear some words of love and comfort. Instead of all this what she heard was.. "Anne, seems like I have really treated you fairly. Stop with this shit. Stop worrying about such trivial things. If they've done bad karma things can't be controlled. For now you better do my assignment soon or else, this is the last time you'd be hearing my voice." This is the warning he gives her whenever Anne said she was really busy studying for an exam tomorrow or with some extremely urgent work. Anne was shook to the core. She didn't expect that the man she loves is so arrogant to disrespect her parents. He dared to ask for an assignment! Here her family was just saved and all he cares about is the assignment whose submission date is not declared yet. The compromise of self-respect she's been doing so that her relationship survives, all the bitter-sour feelings she kept to herself, all the problems and the struggles she's going through alone, everything came to her mind and the anger in her heart rose. "Stephen Wilson from now on you and me have nothing to do with each other. You are on your own now. We are separating our path HEREON. I don't need a person like you in my life. You've mentioned many times that you've got many girls around you and those girls would do things way better and earlier than me. I am setting you free to go to anyone you want. Don't call me back or else your mobile number will be blocked." She couldn't bring herself to curse him, she loved him deeply. Yes! She couldn't imagine her life without him and she didn't want to lose him. But what he said today was just unacceptable. Respecting parents is the most important thing. Even if he wasn't her boyfriend and just a friend no one can ever disrespect parents. With that she thought she ended things with him, unknown to her that this person will cause many troubles in near future.
