Only after Lina had gotten into the car that was now on its way back to the Yang Manor did she remember to check her phone.
She had been working diligently all afternoon and thus had failed to see if someone had tried to contact her during this time.
This was when she discovered the numerous text messages that had arrived, ranging from a few hours ago to the latest one which had popped up a few seconds after she had entered the car.
Derek, her chauffeur, was driving at a steady pace as usual so Lina took her time to check every message she had received so far.
She had been busy with her work in the office and thus had missed the chance to respond to them right away.
However, now that she had the time, she was getting right to it.
