Gian hated it.
This person should be crying because of all the things he did to him. This person should be in a miserable state because he was regretting the things he did in the past. This prince should be in pain as a payment for all the people who suffered because of him. Gian wanted him to suffer for all the miseries he brought not only to him but also to the people he loves.
But not like this.
They stayed like that for a few minutes. Prince Jonathan did not dare to move and Gian covered his face with his hand to hide his tears. No one dared to break their silence in the meantime. The only sound they can hear was the rustling sound of leaves and grasses as the cold wind blew by.
When Gian opened his eyes again, his tears had already dried. He slowly looked down and stared at the person in front of him. Unlike his cold stares earlier, the look in his eyes had mellowed down as well as the emotions on his chest.
