Chereads / The Stone at the End of the Universe / Chapter 14 - God Hemmons - I

Chapter 14 - God Hemmons - I

Inside the white space…

Ninzhe's body is floating, covered in a milky white glow.

Besides Jack and the nine souls, there was nothing inside that space. No one had a physical living body; hence there was no need to make anything tangible. Due to that, even the screens that Jack uses are metaphysical.

Like a little kid, Hjuutza jumped in ecstasy. He feels terrible that the kid suffered such a high level of injury. Still, right now, Ninzhe is being covered by an atmosphere customized for himself. This made him tremble.

If Jack didn't explain to him how it works, he'd call it witchcraft. No, trash that! This IS witchcraft!

"Hjuutza!" Jack called.

"Y… yes, sir?" Hjuutza stuttered. At first, when Jack called himself a god, he really didn't believe it. Science and technology have come a long way, maybe this man in front of him had just a breakthrough in one of his research and made all these available.

At first, Hjuutza doubted Jack as his display of powers in the known universe is all explainable with technology. One company even took over their own planet and called it Euir, renamed their race as Pretess. They lead the advancement in warping technology.

Their warping technology was enough for some other people to call them gods.

Right now, the smallest piece of warping technology is a large necklace about the size of a ping pong ball.

But jack, he went from the white space to the known universe in less than a second. With his metaphysical form, he lifted a boy with a cloud of energy. Created a ring by clenching his fist that he rewarded to another boy. Then returned back to the white space.

And it seems like there were no side effects, no space distortions, nothing at all. Everything that's ever happened was too clean, and that made it unscientific.

"Milna, Jhinupir, come over here," Jack shouted.

From a distance, a red and white flame trembled before floating over to Jack.

It was Mr and Mrs Leiman.

"Here's your son, take care of him for now," Jack commanded.

The broken souls did not have any expression, but they moved to Ninzhe's sides.

"Stay there." Jack said, "You too, Hjuutza."

"Yes, sir." Hjuutza obliged and floated beside Milna.

"Don't disturb me at all cost, Hjuutza pay attention," Jack demanded.

On the outside, Jack looks perfectly fine. Only he understands how taxing it was for him to do what he did.

While the stone that Zhenin carries is him, it's only a part of him.

In an almost infinite distance from where Zhenin is, just right outside of the known universe, is a stone.

That stone is Jack's entire body.

If one was able to look at it from a farm enough without obstructions, they'd see a white marble beside a glittering basketball.

Jack doesn't understand it himself. But the moment that the piece of stone woke up, his main body started to wake up too.

Since then, he's started receiving information from the piece of stone as if it has its own eyes and ears.

And when the very first man who placed the stone into a necklace and wore it, he was able to take information from the wearer himself.

From his five senses to his subconscious mind, Jack can take it for himself.

Jack's current form works like a hivemind. His real body functions as the queen bee, the stone in Zhenin's neck is a worker bee. Jack can send commands to the stone, and it will comply. That is if the worker bee has enough energy to actually execute the command.

But of course, that's the only similarity Jack has with a hivemind. For one, he's only a singular being, not a collective intelligence. Not to mention, the connection of Jack's main body and the stone is absolute.

Right now, Jack spent 99% of the current energy stored in the stone. Even he won't be able to talk to Zhenin for at least a week. He could still send strings through the game-like system integrated deep within Zhenin's mind.

But for now, his plan needs to begin.

"I'll begin now," Jack stated.

Besides Hjuutza, no one else is conscious. Thus he was the only one who nodded.

Jack began to glow, every second, his glow grew brighter to the point that the whiteness of the space seems to dim.

And then, the white space turned black. As if reaching his limit, Jack let go of the charging energy, surging through like a supernova.

Hjuutza was in awe. Congregated energy, one supermassive explosion, isn't this the big bang?

Ever since Jack woke up, he was able to control energy and bend it to his will. If he knows how the process work, then he can utilize said energy to reform.

It was as if everything was on fast forward. From the first second, Jack exploded. The next second, countless nebulas formed all over the space.

The grandness of it all. This majestic display have never before seen by any mortal. Yet, just in front of him, being protected by a transparent bubble, Hjuutza finally established his zeal. The zeal to follow God Hemmons.

For the third second, some of the nebulas began to congregate by themselves. Once all the space dust converged into one, another explosion occurred, and a yellow star was born.

From the byproducts of the star's birth, rocks floated in space. These rocks look like asteroids, but they were extremely chaotic. Unlike the asteroid belt where the asteroids orbit the star, these rocks float wherever.

Yet in this chaos has its own order. The smaller rocks began to move towards larger rocks.

For the next ten seconds, a moon size rock was formed. Due to the constant collision, the entire piece of rock has turned red from the heat.

After another ten seconds, the rock turned into an earth size planet.

Other planets had formed too, for a total of seven planets with two planets forming on the habitable zone of the star.

There were also rocks that failed to gain enough mass to form a planet and became a natural satellite for the formed planets.

For a total of two minutes, an entire solar system was born.
