tate was the first one to wake up, she looks who was beside her, and it's her husband jonah. she look at the room, it look so big and fancy. but then, she remembered, they all stayed the night.
she look at the couch on her side, it was her daughter. probably wasted from last night. she didn't mind it, because she's eighteen now, it's her choice and decision to make, not her's or jonah's.
she stands up from the bed as sleepy jonah moves, making her a little nervous. she doesn't want to wake him. she tiptoed her way to the door and leave the room.
she went downstairs, seeing how beautiful inside the mansion is when it's morning. she saw lavender and jayda on the kitchen area laughing and giggling.
"hello, ladies. what are you doing?"
"we're just making pancakes for everyone." lavender said while pouring the pancake mix to the pan.
"alright, girls, here's the maple- oh, good morning, tate." zach enters the room, as he gives the maple to the girls.
"is that... honey?" tate asked as he shook his head.
"it's maple. a homemade one. i made it." zach smiles.
tate never knew zach could make maples. in fact, if she remembers correctly, he almost burned down the why don't we mansion from baking butterscotch before.
"good morning, peeps!" daniel said while his arm around his wife's neck and evie from behind.
"is that pancakes i smell?" shiori smiling widely as tate nods.
shiori removes daniel's arm as she rish herself to dinning area and sit.
"ah, she's always the same." gabbie said out of the blue, making everyone look at her and jack.
"that's one of the reasons why i married her." daniel proudly said.
"hey guys." perena, the last person to come in the kitchen.
"perena, have you seen my wife?" zach asked.
zach woke up in a different room this morning, he doesn't know why he's not with his wife in their own bed. he probably drank too much and decided to walk to a different room.
"how would i know? i thought she's with you already." perena replies.
zach sadly sighs as jayda hug him from behind.
"i'll go check on mom, if you want." jayda said to her father as he nods.
jayda removes her arms that was wrapped around him as she go look for her mother.
"anyways, zach, do you have advil lying around in your fridge?" jonah said
"i think we have a few. let me check."
lavender was done cooking the pancakes as she serves it to everyone with the maple being the syrup.
"woah, is this honey?" gabriela said pointing at the syrup on top of the pancake.
"it's maple. made by zach." tate said as she got everyone in shock.
"zach? making maple? how-" jack said
"i did question that to myself too." tate laughs followed by everyone laughing too.
zach comes to the dinning area with advils.
"here are your advils, people." he gives it to them one by one.
zach sits at the table as he looks for someone.
"you alright, uncle zach?" evie said
"did danaya and jayda come down?" everyone shook their heads.
"no." tate said
"it's been nearly half an hour, aren't they supposed to be here already?"
when zach said that they quickly heard a scream. a familiar scream.
