Leo charges through, seeing the Lapis soldiers all in turmoil- 300 words
"Commander!" a messenger ran out.
"What's up?" Nazar asked as his mood was immediately brightened as he knew that he had taken out leader of the Lapis army.
"Bad new! Over a hundred thousands beasts are dead!"
"What!?" Nazar asked bewildered at what he had just heard. How did these beasts just die?
"What happened!?" he immediately asked. Did the Lapis Kingdom also have a secret weapon? No that couldn't possibly be.
"Our scouts at the top of the rock cliff have reported seeing a large purple poisonous fog that was released by a few hundred thousand Lapis soldiers."
Distraught, Nazar immediately looked towards Tyson to see if he had known or had anything to do with this.
Tyson's face was filled with surprise at what he had just heard as he himself could not believe what had happened. He was not told of any surprise or secret operation.
Suddenly, amazement was shortly visible in his face before it returned into a plain expressionless looked that shot gazes of arrogance at Nazar.
Nazar immediately caught this look and looked over to Tyson, he angrily asked, "Do you know who's behind this?"
"Hmph! See for yourself," Tyson laughed as he mocked him.
Before even finding time to respond, everyone's attention was suddenly caught on to Leo who jumped from a cliff onto the ground about five hundred meters from them.
"Who is he?" Nazar asked confusedly as he could not really see Leo's features well from such a distance.
Zoom!
Shock suddenly appeared on the men's faces as Leo's silhouette quickly became clearer very quickly. And as for why, they could each tell that it was his speed. Leo was moving towards them at fearsome speed that was comparable to a origin realm stage four.
Was the Lapis army hiding a general?
"Phew... Finally made it," Leo sighed with relief as he slowed down, he had reached the important figures. A surprised expression appeared on his face as he saw the countless Ruby soldiers what were lined up neatly behind the general and the scepter, it was emitting an extremely ominous feeling and he could immediately tell the cultivation of the Ruby heads. Nazar was a Origin stage seven, and each general was at stage five.
"This shouldn't be too hard..." Leo thought as he walked forward to meet them.
As Leo's face was now clearly visible, Xander immediately had an intense sense of foreboding as Leo's body something familiar about it.
'There's no possible way...' he thought as his mind wavered slightly, 'the person back then had red and black hair and his eyes were blood red.'
"Who are you?" Nazar asked curiously, Leo was only a peak refinement expert so how was it possible for him to get here so fast?
"Yo!" Leo greeted, "I am Killing Cloud, a small mercenary leader. I hear that your generals and you had beaten up a few of my mercenaries."
"Pch! I don't have time for you," Nazar scoffed as he looked towards Xander and the red-headed man, "Take him down quickly."
"I remember you," Leo blankly spoke as he calmly looked at Xander. he then looked at the red-haired general and asked, "But it don't know you. What's your name?"
"Rainer, one of the three Ruby generals," the man replied as he pulled out his longsword and Xander followed suit.
"Why not send out your last general as well?" Leo as he saw the blonde general holding the scepter, infusing his energy into it.
Hearing Leo's remark, Nazar simply laughed as he looked at Leo with an arrogant look, "Deal with these two first."
Immediately, Leo gave a slight smile with a nod as he spoke, "So to release the countless beasts inside, you need to infuse energy to release them. Interesting..."
Leo then began stretching his shoulders and back as he commented, "So all I need to do it take that."
"Haha! That is if you can get past us," said Rainer as he began charging at Leo.
"Let's see if you are able to get me to use it," Leo spoke with a cold smile as he suddenly seemed to have disappeared.
'Where is he?' sweat dropped from Rainer's forehead as he and Xander touched back to back, protecting all their blind spots.
Dash!
Suddenly Leo appeared on their left as he dashed and slashed Xander's thigh, so quick that they did not even have time to react.
Argh! Xander called out in pain as the cut was quite deep and he clutched his leg pain and he fell on one knee.
"One down... I think I'm a bit too overpowered..." Leo commented as he smiled, appearing three meters in front of them.
"Rainer," Xander called out in a quiet tone, "How do you think we should deal with him? That attack was so fast that I couldn't dodge at all."
Silence, "Rainer?"
Xander looked to Rainer and was shocked by what he saw. Rainer's eyes were trembling as his body countlessly flinched as he looked at Leo with a look of extreme fear.
"I...I... I now know how many of your soldiers were rendered useless," he slowly spoke out as he tightly gripped his sword, "We need to take offence. Let's test his defense."
Immediately, both generals disappeared as a loud clashing of swords were heard. Both generals had their swords pushing downwards against Leo who was using his one sword to stop them.
Crack!
'Oops. This is terrible quality...' Leo complained in his mind and he retreated as his sword immediately broke into pieces from the pressure of the two generals.
"My goodness. What quality are those swords?" Leo applauded as he curiously eyed their swords.
"I don't want to mess about much. If you have any more trump cards then just use them now," Leo commented as he stood there with a bored expression.
"Haha! You still have the nerve to look bored? We have taken away your sword, you have no form of atta-"
Just before Xander had completed his sentence, Leo suddenly spurted towards him with a green glowing hand as he landed a fist square on Xander's face and he was immediately sent flying a hundred meters back. His flight being stopped by a large rock as he immediately sunk into the rock with a shocked expression on his face as his eyes turned white and dilated.
Dead. One down.
"Too much talk. I never said that I specialize in the sword," Leo corrected him as he looked at the rock that Xander had flown into before turning back and looking at Rainer.
"Now you,"
"Now!" Nazar's scream suddenly sounded and as he did so...
Rumble!
The beast fog grew larger and a cacophony of loud roars resonated from it as fifty thousand beasts that had strength ranging from stage four refinement to origin realm stage two charge out from the scene.
"Clearly, you specialize in one on one combat. Let's see how you will deal with a dual barrage attack. Ruby soldiers! Attack!" Nazar screamed as he signaled for all the soldiers to charge forward.
"Rah!" a loud united roar of soldiers sounded as they followed Nazar's instruction.
Hearing this, Leo immediately dashed to the rock that he had just sent Xander into.
"I'll be borrowing this," Leo quietly spoke as he took the sword from Xander's arms.
Feeling the red sword's sturdiness, Leo smiled as he stared at all the soldiers who were behind him and then turning his gaze towards the beasts. He immediately ran towards the bottom of a cliff.
"I will have to get slightly serious for this," Leo smiled as he planted his back foot into the ground and placed the sword on the right side of his waist, it's blade pointing straight ahead of him as he stared forward planning his line of attack.
Vvvvv!
The sword slowly began vibrating as it's body became an illusory black. Soon, a second later, glowing red sparkles began appearing on the sword's body as Leo waited patiently.
The soldiers and the beasts now merged together as they charged towards Leo getting within two hundred meters of him.
'Not yet,'
The enemies now got within a hundred meters.
'Not yet,'
Fifty meters...
'Not yet,'
Ten meters...
'Not yet,'
Five meters...
Zzzzz!
A suddenly docile spark of plasma appeared as Leo's body dashed forward.
David's aksi: Nether Variant!
Vzvzvz!
Like an arrowhead, Leo immediately charged forward as he ploughed through a long straight line of beasts and humans, almost instantly pulverizing them as they came into contact.
In the matter of a few seconds, Leo had made his way to the other side of the Ruby camp. Blocked by a large cliff wall, Leo jumped forward as he landed on the wall and pushed himself off it, gaining even more speed as he created another long trail of nothingness as countless soldiers and beasts were killed leaving a glowing tube light like tunnel of black that had red sparkles enshrouding it.
David's aksi: Tunnel network!
Zoom! Zoom! Zoom!
The numbers of tunnels increased as Leo and his sword continued quickly. And in the matter of a dozen seconds or so, Leo had killed over three hundred thousand soldiers and thirty thousand beasts, leaving an extremely beautiful geometric artwork on the ground as he stopped, landing on a rock in the middle of the battlefield.
"What is that?!" Nazar asked bewildered as he stared Leo in shock. He did not expect Leo to be able to have both area and single attack arts. A bead of sweat dripped from his forehead as he realized that this fight would be a lot harder than he had thought.
"I left most of your army alive. Do you intend to let all of them die?" Leo coldly asked as he looked at Nazar from the rock like that epic scene in kung fu panda two but this time they could actually hear each other.
"Haha! You will be more fun than I thought, I wonder how far your combat prowess is," Nazar laughed out loud as he took the scepter from the blonde general's hands.
"Commander?"
"Take our main army and retreat a few miles behind. This fight is going to get messy. I had massively underestimated out opponent," Nazar spoke seriously as he instructed the general.
"General..." the blonde general seemed to have some hardship accepting this but he was immediately forced to follow it as Nazar stared at him with a cold glare.
