Myths of celebrations in the Heavenly Realms often had polarizing descriptions. There were those that believed the gods were ostentatious and showered their heavenly offices with lavished decorations with roaring festivities.
Others believed that the gods were more humble. And that heaven saw celebrations as plain seasonal events, no different from another day. Perhaps they might honor, or mourn but did so in a modest and dignified way.
Han Guming had no idea where the latter idea came from but then again, he supposed that there were deities that preferred that style of celebration. The minor deities of course, or those weird recluses that did not come to the Heavenly Capital to enjoy the riots, the festivals and clamor.
