The auctions proceeded as Zhang Wang expected.
'Goods' were hauled to the stage in shackles. Some were drugged and dazed, watching the scene in confusion. And others were fully conscious, fighting and flailing in their shackles and there were those that appeared dead-eyed, perhaps fully lucid, perhaps drugged but it was difficult to tell.
Zhang Wang held his breath, trying to not to focus too hard on the atrocities unfolding in front of his eyes and reminding himself that he would surely do something to help those captives before they were shipped off to whatever sick bastard that thought slavery was okay.
