Dave's POV
"Yes, you are absolutely right Miss Arundhati. Our company is aiming at stepping into the tea industry as well." The woman on the computer screen nodded and said, "Your proposition seems quite fair. I am impressed by your plan as well. Regarding your Darjeeling tea supply, I will revert to you."
I smiled at Arundhati Basu, a famous Indian businesswoman and after exchanging our greetings we hung up.
I stood up and stretched my arms, I was quite sure that I had convinced the woman and would get the deal. I was here in the countryside at Ohio on a vacation, with my younger brother and his girlfriend or fiancé.
Well, my mother had sent me or to be exact kicked me to go and enjoy.
However, here I had just gotten up after a meeting. If my mom got to know this, she would skin me alive. Mark my words skin me alive.
It was at this moment that my phone started ringing. The screen flashed Jane, my soon to be sister in law. I smiled, she was like a younger sister to me, the one that I never had. Instead I had been blessed by an annoying younger brother. I scrounched my nose at the thought.
I picked it up and in a cheerful voice said, "What's up"
I was greeted with a shaky voice from the other end, "W....We got in....into an s.....small accident."
"What??"
"Y...Yes, Please come here."
"Where are you?"
"In t...the Good...Goodwill Hospital."
"I will be just there. Tell me are you okay? Is Connor alright?"
"Yes... I am fine, and Connor was taken in by the doctor for some examination. She says, he broke his hand."
"Okay, hang in there and do not worry I will be there."
I quickly grabbed the keys and drove to the hospital.
As I reached the hospital, I see Jane sitting on the bench, she too had a few injuries here and there, but they had been dressed and taken care of.
I went and hugged her, kissing her forehead I asked, "Are you alright?"
"Yes I am fine, and Connor too is. The doctor is in there, she is just checking a few things. We were lucky because, when we met with the accident, this doctor was passing by. She quickly came to our help and got us here."
The nurse came outside and said in a stern voice, "You may meet the patient."
Both of us walked inside and I asked, "How did this happen?"
Connor looked at me sheepishly and said, "You are here brother."
My attention was caught by the doctor's back, which looked awfully familiar. The doctor started rubbing the back of her neck and I saw a very familiar tattoo. My eyes turned wide, I pinched mself, to check if I was dreaming. The doctor said, "I will take my leave."
I said, "Don't you think you should explain my brother's condition to me Dr..."
I waited for her to complete his sentence, but she did not. And said in a slightly shaky voice, "I....I already d.....did."
She made the best attempt to put her face down, cover it with the clipboard in her hands and leave the room.
She audibly let out a sigh of as she made to the door, but before she could open it I grabbed her hand and turned her around. Her forest pool-like eyes met with my ocean blue orbs.
I whispered, "V....Van"
"Leave my hand, Dave."
"Oh my God!!! Van, it is really you."
I hugged her tightly and whispered, "Ohhh!! I missed you so much. How have you been?"
"Stop calling me Van, for you it is Dr. Venetia or better Dr. Morgan."
"I am sorry Van, I really am. Please forgive me It wasn't me. Come back to me. Please."
"Nooo," she said while pushing me as if I was suffering from corona.
I could feel two intense gazes on my back. I very well knew Connor's and Jane's mouth would be hanging open and eyes would be popping out. But right now I could care less.
Venetia continued, "Nooo, you cheated on me, you strangled the throat my trust, you used me, you were the one fucking around, and let's not forget..... you fucking sex taped me. You are a bloody liar!!!!!"
A gasp left Connor's mouth.
I let out a huge sigh and said, "I am sorry. Believe me it was Mitschell."
"Stop it, I am sick and tired of your story.."
"Listen, now do not worry, now that I have found you, I will make it up to you."
She turns around and is about to leave when I hold her wrist push her against the wall.
"But before you leave....." I smashed my lips on hers, my kiss was extremely gentle. I was pouring all my love into it.
Venetia stood there frozen, she did not kiss me back, but did not push me either. My kiss grew a little harsher, I licked her lips, asking for entrance. But she was as stubborn as always. I desperately wanted to taste her, so I bit her bottom lip. A hiss left Vanescia mouth. He inserted his tongue inside. It was as if, her senses kicked in, and she remembered she was angry. She pushed me with all her might.
I pulled away, and pressed my forehead against hers and said, "I am sorry Van. I will surely make it up to you. And might I add your lips, are still so soft, so plumpy and let's not forget they still taste the same."
A slight pink tinge appears on her cheeks but she says in her best fake strict voice, "You are still as SHAMELESS as ever DAVE ANDRESON and might I add your lips taste as DISGUSTING as ever. I would have to brush my teeth thrice, cause you know, because of you my mouth is actually smelling like rotten eggs. ASSHOLE"
I gave her a sunny ray smile to and winked. I then placed my hand on my heart and that on the right side, I dramatically said, "Stop it, stop it, my poor heart cannot handle this much LOVE, my cherry."
Van shook her head and left.
I said, "See you around cherry."
Van turned around and showed her middle finger to me. I chuckled and shook my head. I was so exhaltated to finally meet her after so many years, I found her.
I turned around and was met with two questioning, shocked and surprised looks.
I smiled sheepishly. My brother said, ���EXPLAIN"
"Do you really want to know?"
"Explain it right now Brother. You always tell to respect women and all. But right now what I saw, I thought I had been transported to a parallel universe."
"Really??????"
This time Jane spoke, "Right now MR. DAVE ANDRESON YOU ARE GOING TO EXPPLAIN THE SHIT THAT YOU DID."
I sighed in defeat and went and sat on the stool near Connor's bed.
"It all started with a basketball match....."
