(Dominic's Pov)
I'm talking to Samantha who is me and my brother Axel's on and off girlfriend when I smell something. I look over at my brother and sure enough he's sniffing the air too. "Um... Sam I gotta go." I say before giving her a kiss on the forehead. "Yeah I think I'm gonna tag along with him" Axel says and follows behind me. Sam stands up and tries to follow but I turn around and say "You can stay right there and continue what you were doing before we were hanging out with you." She looks at the ground and mumbles "Stupid alpha command." Me and Axel turn around before replying "What did you say Samantha?" Samantha just looks down and says "sorry alphas." "Good that's what I thought I heard" Axel says. We walk off and I think about what the scent could be. It smells like lavender and honey. We follow the scent to the cafeteria and step inside. A few heads turn in our direction but immediately look back towards the middle of the lunch room. I look up and take in a sharp intake of breath. I see the most beautiful girl I've ever seen before with her back turned to me. I can make out her soft jawline and her high cheekbones just barely. She has perfect curves that I'm sure my hands would fit perfectly around. Her hair falls in dark waves below her waist that I cant wait to run my hands through. I look over at my brother and he's staring at her with lust filled eyes. I finally notice that Sam is standing in front of her telling her off but she's not listening. Sam pulls her fist back and the girl ducks. Sam goes to hit her again and the girl catches her hand and knees her in the stomach. Dang thats hot. I look at my brother and he looks like a lovesick puppy. I look up and lock eyes with her. My wolf is going crazy in my head. My wolf Aden says "mate." Which I say aloud along with my brother. The girl looks at us and takes off running. I hear Axel growl and suddenly I'm running after our mate. We follow her scent until we reach the treeline and finally catch up to her. She goes to run but my hand flies out and grabs her wrist. I feel sparks spread up my arm and she jumps back. "Whats your name?" Axel asks. She says "My name's Catherine, Why do you need to know exactly?" with an eyebrow raised. I can't help but stare at her beautiful hazel eyes and upon closer inspection I notice that they have gold and green specks in them. "Because your our mate" me and Axel say at the same time. "Um I already have one mate" Catherine says. "Well you can have up to 9 mates." I say. She looks us up and down and rolls her eyes before turning to walk away. My wolf Aden whimpers and Axel grabs her wrist and spins her back towards us. I grab her and wrap my arms around her waist before pulling her body towards me. "Ouch" she says and winces. My wolf immediately says in my head "you hurt mate" with a growl. I jump up away from her and ask "what hurts baby?" Axel looks at her looking for what could be hurt. He breathes in and I see why. Her flat pale stomach is showing. I look at her side and see a purple splotch that is bigger than my whole fist. "Who the hell did that?" I ask with a growl. "Well I have somewhere to be so bye." she says with a wave over her shoulder. It hurts to see her walk away from us but I turn to my brother and say "You wanna folllow her?" He nods and we follow behind her not making any sound. We need to find out what happened to her.
