The Jinchuuriki, who had lasted the longest among them was none other than Killer Bee. Perhaps it was because of his talent in controlling the Tailed Beast Chakra, or his endurance was just that good.
But… Even Killer Bee couldn't do anything against the relentless attacks from Araki.
After having killed all the Jinchuurikis, Araki released a seal on his body and recovered all his chakra.
He immediately started the process of condensing the bodies of the tailed beasts whose Jinchuurikis had died at his hands.
Kurama soon joined by his side as he saw what Araki was doing.
In nearly half an hour or so… The 7 Tailed Beasts slowly took shape.
Most, if not all of them didn't appear to be happy as they took shape. All the tailed beasts glared at Araki… Some of them had bonded quite well with their JInchuurikis.
Araki noticed their glares but didn't care much about it. He expected this reaction from the tailed beasts.
"What is the meaning of this? Why are you trying to help us take shape? Do you want to take us to Konoha and seal us in another vessel?" It was Two Tailed Bijuu who asked Araki with a hint of hostility in its eyes.
"An interesting proposal… But no." Araki mildly said as he stared at the Two Tailed Bijuu.
"Then what is it you want from us?"
"In return for granting you eternal freedom… I want your chakra. Not too much… Just a tail's worth of your chakra." Araki didn't conceal anything and told them straight away.
The Tailed Beasts, excluding Kurama, were immediately angered upon hearing his words.
"You think we will give you any chakra after what you did to our Jinchuuriki?!"
"Although my relations with my Jinchuuriki weren't that good, it wasn't that bad. I won't be giving you any of my power."
"The same can be said about me."
"How can we believe your promise of giving us freedom? You humanity are a bunch of liers.
Other than Seven Tails, Six Tails, and the Three-Tails… All the tailed beast slowly gave their input.
Halfway through, Araki had stopped listening to their words. He was more focused on the arrival of someone.
And soon enough, it did arrive. The One-Tailed Beast, Shukaku…
Araki's Wood Clone was leading Shukaku to this place. They had started running a day earlier, having anticipated when the war might end and finally arrived right now.
"Shukaku! You are here as well?!"
"What are you doing here? And what are you doing with his Clone?"
The tailed beasts asked with some surprise and anxious looks on their faces.
Meanwhile, Shukaku was shocked to see them all released. He couldn't feel the presence of any human nearby.
And when he turned around, he saw red coloured land to his side. He nearly shuddered as he wondered just how much blood was spilt for this land to be painted red…?
"What do you mean? Aren't you also released by him?" Shukaku asked them while pointing at Araki.
This somewhat confused the tailed beasts… They wondered just what did Senju Araki by giving them freedom.
"He killed your Jinchuuriki too?" The Four Tailed Beast, Son Goku, asks Shukaku.
To this, Shukaku nodded his head and replied, "Yes… He told me that if I follow his instructions, no one will be able to seal me again."
"…"
The Tailed beasts turned silent… This was exactly what they had been told by Araki a few moments earlier.
Was this the truth? Could they really attain freedom? But still… Some of them had bonded with their Jinchuurikis. Should they really give power to this man who had killed them all?
However, it was the 6-Tailed Beast, Saiken, speaks, "Your strength is indeed very great… While you are living, you can indeed accomplish your promise. But a human's life is very small as compared to us. What will happen after your death? The same cycle would continue again…"
Kurama was also curious about this question. He had heard Araki saying that nobody will be able to capture the tailed beasts… So, how was he going to accomplish this?
"What makes you think that I will die?" Araki asked them a single question. It puzzled the tailed beasts as they wondered just why was he asking such an obvious question.
"Let me clarify… I can absorb life-force from nature itself. Whether it is trees, insects, humans, animals… As long as someone can't kill me with power, I won't die. And tell me… Who is capable of killing me in the world at this moment?" Araki asked them once again.
Already having witnessed his power… The tailed beasts remained silent.
"Let me give you another reason why I am asking for your chakra."
His eyes changed, and crimson Rinnegan appeared in his normally black eyes.
"Rinnegan!" All the tailed beasts exclaimed at the same time!
This was a little different from the Rinnegan of the Sage of Six Paths, but they could feel that massive strength from it…
"I need all of your Chakra to awaken the Rinne-Sharingan!" Araki said to the tailed beasts.
"I am outta here… I definitely won't be giving my chakra to you." The Two-Tails said and was about to leave this place.
Araki raised his brow at those words and said, "I am asking for your chakra. Don't mistake it with request… If you don't give me on your own accord, I will take it from you!."
"You…!" Some of the tailed beasts were really angry at those words, "What's the difference between you and the other humans who have tried to use us for our power?"
"Why should I think about your benefit? Are you my friends or related to my family somehow? I don't think so. Each one of you other than Kurama supported your Jinchuurikis when you were fighting against me. I should consider you half an accomplice of the Shinobi Villages who tried to attack Konoha. Staying neutral to you is already a huge blessing for you, but it seems you really want me to take action!" Araki said before he clenched his fists and looked ready to fight against the Tailed Beasts, excluding Kurama.
The Tailed Beasts, who had sided against him cowered at his words. He wasn't wrong… Considering that they had supported their Jinchuurikis in an attack against Konoha, their relationship was awfully strained.
And from what they had witnessed, not a single-tailed beast wanted to fight against him.
At that moment, Kurama spoke up, "Araki, I will give you my chakra."
At that moment, the Three Tailed Beast, Isobu also spoke, "Take my chakra as well. It's just a tailed worth of chakra, right? But… You must make sure that I never get captured again."
Araki nodded his head in turn and stared at the other Tailed Beasts who were still glaring at him.
"So then… What will it be? Make your choice!" He spoke with a massive pressure leaking from his body.
"Alright… I will give you my chakra. Make sure that no one will take away my freedom again…"
"Same for me.."
"…"
