We ran for a couple days only stopping to hunt, drink or rest. Never staying in one place for very long, which I myself kinda found annoying as I was trying to get to know this world better but they were in a hurry.. They kept saying that the supreme alpha doesn't like to be kept waiting when its something so important.
Me and Fenrir couldn't find out what made us so special, I mean yes I'm a god but I didn't know these werewolves took gods so seriously. It warmed my heart a little to know that people still cared and taught about norse gods. I thought they were long ago forgotten, just like the Viking culture, the Myans, and even the Native Americans were all killed or driven out of existence to make way for the new age American.
By now I figured that the modern age had taught that the gods, Roman and Norse, tho almost similar, were all made up. Not real but something made up for the people to have hope, something to hang onto when all was lost only to have their hopes and dreams crushed when no one came to help them or answer their prayers. This in fact was false, well the Norse gods weren't made up, the Roman gods im not sure.
Anytime someone needed the strength to not kill someone just cause they did something to spite them, or the strength to pull through and finish a marathon, etc. I would be there in their eyes only and portray that their strength was there, they just had to find it and they ended up pulling through. I was always there for my people that would pray to me, the other gods like Odin and Thor.. I can't say...
Once we arrived at the supreme alphas.... mansion, castle...whatever its called, its huge. The old grey cobblestone towers give off the castle vibe but the old brick building that's only 5 or 6 stories screams mansion, so I'm not sure what it is at this moment, Earth is very confusing.
The guards at the front didn't even check us over, didn't even move from their spots. Just stared straight ahead and the gates opened without issue, the creaking from the wood giving the air an old feeling, like they had been there for years and would continue to be until years to come. As I took in my surroundings while making sure not to stray to far from the group to not get lost as they moved quickly through the streets.
The people of the city were lined outside worried and confused as to what was going on, the many claws clicked almost in different times on the stone pathways. They created almost what a battalion of horses going through the paths to battle only not clops but clicks. The supreme alpha and what I presumed to be his wife, or maybe the supreme Luna, were standing with their arms linked and waiting for me to arrive.
I looked up at them and could see that the alphas wolf didn't want to back down so easily, well both me and Fenrir would show him what a good alpha is like. We won't start it, we'll wait for his wolf to have some common sense. I laid down on the pathway panting and trying to cool myself in the cool but welcoming breeze.
"And who is this disrespectful piece of shit that you just so handsomely strolled into my city?!?" he yelled. I immediately stood on all fours and went right up to his face and looked him directly in the eye, then growled really deep. The power from the growl alone sent the supreme alpha to his knees, his luna although, she gained my respect. She stood proud and tall before sending a very well earned ass chewing his way.
"Now, Earl. That is no way to treat guests, he just needed to cool off as I'm sure they've been traveling long and hard to get here. It's not like everyone has to bow to you just because. You're a supreme alpha, not a king." she explained as her husband gave her a death glare, i growled once more. Never in my years have I seen anyone disrespect their loved one and I'm not going to allow it either. He then looked to me hanging his head in shame. During this time Grayson had shifted, yes he may not be alpha but he is the best when it comes to greeting and being nice.
"Well supreme alpha and luna.... this," he said pointing to me, "this is Fenrir, God of Strength."
