Mennok crouched behind a rock and looked over. What he saw was a campfire surrounded by Imp's. There were at least 12 of them, comprised mostly of lesser Imp's and a few Greater ones, as well as the largest Imp he has ever seen which looked to be almost his height of 1.75 metres. He had also found a pathway which went around the Imp's, he'd keep that in mind just incase. He knew he couldn't attack them head on by himself or he would get swarmed, so he went back to get Jenny.
"Did you find anything ahead?"
"Imp's. Many. Big Imp too. Need help."
"So what do you want me to do?"
"Light. Imp's not see, I kill some. Do again."
"You're not that good at talking. So you want be to use
"....yes."
"Is there a way to avoid them?"
"No."
"Are you lying to me Mennok?"
"...Yes."
"Why do you want to kill them?"
"Xp. More xp make stronger."
"Sorry Mennok. If there's a way to go unnoticed were going that way. I don't want to fight all the time, I just want to leave."
"...ok."
Jenny wrapped her unfinished rations, picked up her staff and followed Mennok to where the Imp's were. Once they reached the campfire they both activated Stealth and his behind separate rocks.
"I think we could handle that, but we're not here for that. Let's just go around."
As Jenny turned to follow Mennok into the small pathway she spotted something shining.
"Is that a longsword?"
Mennok turned around and looked towards the direction Jenny was pointing.
"I think it's too short to be one. Wait." Jenny thought she recognised something on the sword, so she squinted to see more clearly.
"That's Maguire's symbol on the Pommel. Mennok this is William's sword!"
"William?"
"He's one of my friends that also got... you know."
"Know what?'
She paused for a moment. "He died."
"Ooooohh." He spoke while pointing at the Imp's. "They kill William, we kill them?"
"They didn't kill William, however I need the sword so that I can give it back to his family."
"Why not keep sword?"
"Because it's not ours Mennok."
"Bleh."
"On second thought, let's kill these things."
A wicked smile slowly formed on Mennok's face as he unsheathed both knife and Sword. He was finally going to get xp.
"I'll stay behind this rock and cast my
Mennok nodded and then took position. A few moments later a bright light floated to the roof of the Dungeon blinding everything but Mennok who had looked away when it happened. That was his signal to move so he left his hiding place and ran at full speed. He found an Imp squealing on the ground, trying to look away, so he stabbed the sword right through its head.

He wasted no time looking at the boxand pulled his sword out, stabbing it into the neck of another Imp. He killed 2 more Imp's by smashing their heads to the ground and then struck his knife through another's chest.

The Illuminate spell was fading away so he ran back to the rock and hid behind it, activating Stealth again.
By the time light had disappeared, 5 out of 12 Imp's were on the floor limp, puddles of blood forming around their bodies. The remaining Imp's saw the motionless bodies of their brothers and went into a panic, attempting to run away but eventually stopped by a loud hiss from the largest Imp.
It looked around the small encampment, hoping to find the thing that had killed it's minions and suddenly, another light rose to the roof, blinding the Imp's once again.
After the light had disappeared again, 4 more Imp's had fell to the ground.

The largest Imp shrieked in anger, his minions that were supposed to protect his loot were falling like flies. Now there was only himself and 2 Greater Imp's. He wouldn't fall for the same trick next time.
As expected a third light appeared. This time however instead of blinding all of them, only 2 were. The largest Imp had turned around, avoiding the flashing light. He saw a figure rush towards him and his minions. It killed one of the Greater Imp's and was about to kill the second but the Imp in charge interfered, sending his club down, barely missing the figure.

Mennok has been charging the second Greater Imp when a club was swung at him. He barely managed to roll out of the way thanks to his dodge skill and get back up. He had failed to kill the second one.
He had hoped for a one-on-one situation but the largest of them all had interfered. Fortunately the Greater Imp advanced on him in anger, allowing Mennok to easily make it a 1v1.

Another light shot out of nowhere, this time both Mennok and Imp looked away.
"Damn it. My
Mennok felt like he could handle the large creature. It was slow in its movements and there wasn't much strength behind the club swing. He contemplated whether to use his weapons or just fight unarmed. It's not that he loved risky fights, it's just that hee had been using his weapons most of the time so he couldn't test out his base strength without them. All the Imp's that he fought unarmed just died in an instant, which didn't really say anything considering that they had pretty loe health.
Screw it. No weapons. He sheathed his weapons into the belt attached to his trousers and raised his fists.
"What is this guy doing? Fighting bare handed? Mennok are you crazy?!?!"
"I strong enough, no probl-" The Imp swung the bat towards Mennok's face. He was not about to wait until they were done with whatever they were doing, especially when he was fighting the one thing that wiped out all it's minions.
Mennok didn't have time to dodge the unexpected swing so he put both hands in the way, only cushioning the hit slightly. He was sent tumbling on the ground with aching hands.
[-72 Hp]
He got back up just in time to dodge the next attack. The club swiped pass his left cheek, and he could feel the air moving away from the swing. He ducked under the next one and landed a punch in the Imp's abdomen. The Imp staggered back a few steps, holding its stomach from pain. It looked like his punch did decent damage.
After dodging another swing he punched the Imp square on the jaw which pushed the Imp back. He was about to land another hit before it recovered and his hand was stopped by the imp. Its eyes were fully black and it seemed to emit a black miasma from its body. It grabbed Mennok's left leg and tried to stretch him out, and he could feel the pressure on his leg and hand increasing. He kicked the Imp in the face, loosening the grip on his limbs. He continued the barrage of kicks until the Imp finally dropped him.
He rolled out of the Imp's range and was about to take his weapons but he decided he would try one more thing. He started running towards the Imp that had just threw it's club away and started roaring, dodged it's wild hammer fist and grabbed it's legs, lifting it off the air for a few seconds and throwing it on the ground. He put both his knees on the Imp's legs, distributing his whole weight on them.
Now that he couldn't be interrupted, he begun the beatdown by repaying every single punch it landed on him and double. He rained down painful punches until its entire face was covered in blood. He ripped off both it's horns and stabbed them in its eyes and back out the other side.

After things had died down, Jenny emerged from the shadows and healed Mennok.
"Are you going to do that ever again?"
"..(wheezing)...No."
Jenny went towards the Hoarders stash and began rummaging through it.
"Maybe."
