I woke up on the ally from the night before on which I was attacked by a stranger, attacked that word rang rang in my head over and over until I snapped and finally realized what had happened.
My hands went straight into my neck nothing, I could have sworn the man had bit me in the neck, but I was only feeling sick.
"I should get home"I thought.
After arriving home, I tried to go to sleep but my mom heard me arrive,
"Daniel is that you sweetie?"She asked.
"Yes mom"I responded, in which she then quickly popped her head out and walked towards me,
"Are you okay Dan?"She asked placing her hand on my forehead, "You look sick"she finished
"I think I'm fine mom" I told her and started walking to my room, but ended up passing out before I got there.
I later woke up in my bed, I walked out and say my mother cooking, she looked up and said,
"You're finally up"with a smile, then all of a sudden she cut her finger.
So much blood I thought, I felt sick but at the same time a pleasant feeling almost hunger emerged in me I ran to the bathroom,
"Sorry mom I can't" I said as I ran.
I looked in the mirror feeling something poke in my mouth as soon as I opened it I saw fangs, I panicked,
"Mom I'm going out for a breath of fresh air"I said still panicking.
When I got outside there was a man,
"Sup"he said, "remember me?"he asked.
I thought long and hard but nothing came to mind, then he started tapping his neck and said,
"I'm the one who gave you this gift"he smirked, "By the way I'm Matty".
I thought and thought about everything I'd say to him right about now but all I mustered up was,
"Why me?"
