Ria was sitting in the library. She doesn't even know why she's there, she doesn't even like reading books, but she likes eavesdropping especially how Mila flirt with Chris. She mimicked every Mila's flirty words with sarcasm.
She's getting tired cause she's hearing all the same words like— every day! She decided to find Sophie instead and found her beneath the tree in her favorite spot. She saw her friend, dedicated to learning magic. She finds it out by reading the movement of her mouth.
She sat on the bench while still looking at her friend. Sophie looks at her and they smile at each other.
She knew Sophie have a question to her about leaving without saying a word.
"Be careful, there's a possibility that... "
=Sophie's P.O.V.=
Did you ever feel like you were in your comfort zone recently, and now you're lost in the woods? Like literally. You know you are taking a step, you know you are making progress
As you walk, it's like Deja Vu, the same tree, same atmosphere, same land.
This is the first time I have been to this kind of place, full of trees and various plants. "Wait is that a phoenix?" one of the furry creatures. Its pair of wings, and its brave eyes, never failed to amaze me, even though I only read it in a book.
Back to reality, I wonder which dimension I went to. Phoenix can be seen in many dimensions base on the book, but their most home is the dimension in which the authors live.
Even faster than lightning, I hid behind a tree when she heard footsteps.
"Burn for me, baby!" - sang by a man in a red cap.
"Shut your mouth" - a man with blue eyes.
"Hey stop it, we need to focus, Lochwynne will surely increase their security." - I gasp when I heard that, and I gasp again when I realize that they heard it.
"What's that?" - Red Cap guy who looks scared.
"You mean, who's that?" Blue eyes guy answered him.
The one boy with a black jacket shushes them. It looks like this is their leader and they seem to be their most courageous. Could he be the one who has escaped almost half the soldiers?
I cover my mouth with my hand so they wouldn't be able to hear my heavy breath as the blue-eye guy walks near the tree where I hid. "Maybe it's just a bird," - blue eyes guy.
As on cue, the creature I thought as a phoenix landed in front of me. It has a white and brown feather on its wings, and its size wasn't big as I thought. How could I freaking tell that this is a phoenix?
I tried to move my body a little bit just to scare the bird that might be thinking that I'm just a tree cause I'm not moving. I have no choice but to make quick magic that no one would notice. I slowly move my hands and let a small smoke to control some stones and hit the bird. Sorry bird but I have to.
It makes the bird release a single, soft, high-pitched, clearly not a Phoenix. But as it flew it leaves a caterwaul sound that gives terror in every part of my body like this was the scariest creature.
I knew it, I shouldn't have done that.
"Crazy Eagle!" a guy said with a sharp voice.
I've never read anything about an Eagle. Any creature that wasn't written in any book in our library means it's from the world where no kind of us exist. Which means I'm in a muggles world. And these guys were a simple human with no magical powers.
Ria was right, they are just muggles.
I always wanted to stop them, but I stayed in my spot while watching them. I think deep for a way to get out of this position, just to get away from them. If I use huge magic to escape here, they'll be going to notice it. Now that I know which world I was stranded in, and hunters are here, I was even more afraid that I might never be able to return.
Oh my! I can't think right now! I am so nervous to the point that I am trembling. I have no choice but to silently crawl to these bushes so that they would not hear me. I don't want them to see me because I know that they might hurt me. I can sense that they are dangerous. Good looking yet dangerous!
As I crawl, I look back to see if they are still there but to my surprise, they are already gone. They might have gone without me noticing. I just stood up because the stones hit my knees and forearms so badly.
The case was wrong-move !! They just moved in front of me.
"Hi?" - I awkwardly waved at them, but I got no response from them.
They hid the things I could not identify. But it was too late to hide it because I had seen them handle those things before. No one spoke to them while everyone was staring at me. On the left, he seemed to be seeing a ghost, in the middle he looked back and forth from me and to his right, who was staring at me deeply.
