For the first time in a hundred years, Cyra spoke in front of someone she didn't want to kill. "I can feel you." She murmured then. As she turned her hand, the Shadow Essence inside the older man grew bigger.
As he was a Wusun, that ball of Shadow Essence that he initially received has doubled his Essence from 61k to 122k. Still, as Cyra slowly turned her hand, she could do this without any issue up until 200k, where the Elder Essence was already above that of an ordinary Deity, yet he no longer felt right.
Instead, it was painful the Shadow Essence's raw power has started to eat him up from inside out, and he burnt to death right before her eyes.
"Well, this is interesting. Looks like I found a new toy. It's soon will be time to look for my new discipline." Cyra was clear about what Jade did, but truthfully she couldn't care less. She only kept her as one of her entertainment.
"In a sense, both of us were using each other, yet it's funny how much you have underestimated me. Even if I didn't show you my true strength, I was expecting much more, such a disappointment."
Cyra turns back her attention towards her force control. As her mastery increased over Shadow Essence, she could sense what was happening around the Shadows of the people she knew.
"Did I already lost some of my sanity? I wonder, I feel insane." Cyra's mind was wandering as she spent her time with cultivation.
Soon 70 years have passed. The time was nearing Cyra's first rising, and her cultivation had finally had a breakthrough as such. She became an Awaken Hun.
The time was ticking by as if it was nothing, never stopped even for a second. Cyra spent another 30 years with cultivation and reached 15%.
At the exact 100th anniversary of her imprisonment, her cell has risen above all others, and she was standing before the council of masters. Jade was also present standing among the True Bloods. She was looking down on Cyra.
Her former master falling so low has ignited her passion for pain, yet since Cyra kept ignoring everyone and continued to cultivate, the council has raised the question first once more. "Did you had enough? Will you drink the blood?"
Cyra shook her head and went back to cultivate. None of these people were interesting to her. She had something else in her mind. Also, since she used force control, no one realized her increased strength.
"We will talk again in another 100 years! I hear by forbidding you from receiving any food, and we will completely seal off your cell!" As the judgment echoed through the square, everyone was shocked by how harsh the sentence was.
Even for a Wusun not being able to eat for 100 years was hell, it seems like they are dead set on forcing the weird one to drink the founder Blood.
The prison was sealed before everyone else's eyes and was sent back down to the depths of the prison.
As much as I love to play the weird one, the time of the Watcher getting closer, Cyra gazed into the Shadows looking at a dying older man gripping his bloody sheets and fighting for his survival.
Cyra disappeared from her cell and appeared before the older man as the Watcher. "It's been a while Fodar, how have you been?"
"Did you came to laugh at me too?" Ridiculed Fodar as he looked at the Watcher with bloodshot eyes.
"No, I need a new discipline, and I was thinking about you. That's all! Announced Cyra as she walks to Fodar's side, and a ball of Shadow Essence began dancing between her fingers.
As the Shadow Essence came in contact with Fodar, his strength began rising rapidly together with his strength.
As it turned out, he was already a Prime, but something gravely injured him, and that's why he was on his last breath.
"This, how is this possible? I was dying!" Fodar was joyful and looking in the mirror. He couldn't help but be amazed.
Cyra could freely control the state of those infected by her Essence. She could kill him at any moment.
Yet this wasn't enough for her. She wanted Fodar to fear her to his very bone. After he recovered, she dropped him in the Abyss and left him there for a whole year.
After a year, Fodar was just bones and skin, fighting against Nightmare Hawks took a stroll on him, not to mention they were uneatable for an average person such as himself.
For the following three years, Cyra dropped him at level 2999 and left him to survive by himself.
In truth, she valued her time of cultivation more than making him healthy with her means.
Four years later, Cyra cultivation rose to Awaken 20%. After Fodar recovered, he was taken back to the Abyss, but this time he died a horrible death. He was tortured to the point where he could no longer remember his name than died.
With the help of Jade, it could have been faster, but Cyra got the hang of it after a while, then picked up the body and visited her friend.
"Why do you keep bringing him here?" Inquired Ankuj as he looked at his patient. He treated him so many times that even he got numb from it.
"He is my discipline." Cyra disclosed as she looked at the pile of bloody mess before her.
"In the past 80 years, you bought this boy here more than 300 times for me to revive. Are you sure he is your discipline?!" Puzzled Ankuj as he was ready to take away the boy.
"Yes." Answered Cyra.
"He won't remember your teaching this way." Noted Ankuj as he was walking towards his working room together with Cyra.
"I don't need him to remember. All I care if his body remembers what happens, I can finally start to teach him!" Revealed Cyra her intentions to Ankuj.
"You have changed! You weren't this, how should I put, cruel before." Exclaimed Ankuj as he looked at Cyra. Seeing how ignorant she was about this subject, he decided to let it slide for now.
"I learned from my mistakes, now revive him!" Demanded Cyra as anger could be heard in her voice.
"Alright, alright, this way, please," Ankuj called Cyra as they entered his room.
It took Ankuj a full two weeks to rebuild the kid from scratch, and even after that, he taught him the fundamental human things such as breathing and reading together with talking.
Cyra wasn't present during this time as she continued her cultivation and managed to achieve a smaller success by reaching 21% in her cultivation.
When Fodar came to his senses, she appeared before him as a weird one. The sudden appearance of this individual surprised even Ankuj. "I should have known you're the so called Weird one, don't worry, as a doctor, I'm good at keeping secrets!"
In the meantime, the boy wasn't even able to move. He was frozen to his very core from the immerse fear that he felt when Cyra was near him.
"Do you know who I am?"
"I do not, but I fear you, my mind and heart tell me to run, yet I can't even move an inch!"
"Great, now we are talking!" Cyra clapped her hands together and took out a black robe that she handed to the young man.
"This is?"
"Get dressed. We have things to do." With that, Cyra disappeared from the room and once more took away the boy, but this time they were standing inside the Heavenly Abyss.
They were standing inside the Shrine where Cyra previously met the dark figure, "This is your new homestay here and meditates until you reach god hod then I will grant you a technique.
With that, Cyra left once more as her audition with the council came closer with each passing day, she returned and continued her cultivation.
When her cell started moving again, she reached up to 27%. As she came before everyone else, the council has already prepared the bowl of blood.
Cyra held it in her hand then threw it on the floor without any prior warning; this action of hers thoroughly angered the masters to death. This act was utmost disrespect for their founder." That's it I sentence you for 800 years without any food or water. We will seal you in the deepest part of the prison!"
No one realized that the moment Cyra was released, she accessed the Collider sect techniques and bought a copy of their basic techniques as she was able to buy them all.
This was the reason why she even gained Access to Jade signature techniques. Looking at it, she was pondering for a while that discarded the idea of teaching it soon to be a new discipline as it was way too basic.
She wanted to create something better that could put the Shadow Essence to fair use during his Shadow cultivation journey.
After she was locked away once more, she returned to visit the child that she left in the Shrine.
The moment she appeared, she saw that he had completed the task that she has given to him and became a god in less than 20 years. It was already above Jade.
"What do you want from me?" Asked the boy.
"Be my discipline, be a ruler that acts in my absence." Cyra declared.
"Why?"
"At one point, I'm going to leave to take care of other matters, but I will come back to harness the Essence of this place. Even in my sleep, I'm longing for this place, yet I cannot reach it."
Said Cyra as she gazed into the darkness.
The mental barrier that held back Cyrus's desire was slim as a strand of hair. This feeling greatly affected her thinking and goals.
While Cyra held power above everything else, she also wanted to create a way for Cyrus to access the ship.
Yet Cyrus' boredom also affected her as he wished to play more. Time was something that didn't matter to him as of now.
What do you want me to do? Queried the boy.
"Learn to enjoy death. Death is beautiful, while murder is an art. If you accept me as your master, I will give you powers beyond your understanding!" Cyra vowed.
"I understand, I-I give my self to you!" The god has ripped out his own heart with a strong will to show where his loyalty stood.
As always, sanity was something that Cyra didn't care much about it. As long as his loyalty was intense, everything should be fine this time.
"Great, let's see. I should name you after all since you probably don't remember much! Oh, I got it. Since Everyone so dead set about family sects, I will name you Azrail Ember!" Announced Cyra.
"Thank you, master!" Azrail gracefully accepted the name that Cyra granted to him with the utmost respect.
While Azrail continued to cultivate, Cyra created a technique based on the knowledge she obtained from the standard techniques.
Her new technique was [The Will of Death]. She specialized in the technique to be able to get stronger through the process of using it.
It could be upgraded through killing until it gave its wielder the power to Bring Shadows to life in exchange for Shadow Essence.
The technique worked based on equal exchange and its wilder power. As long as the user tapped into the shadows of a weaker being than them, they could command their shadows to emerge and follow their bidding.
