The next morning Cyra was directed to the medical lab once more, this time for an event called marking. She was visibly uncomfortable with it. As such, she spent hours hugging the little lizard. She didn't exactly fear the process, but she unconsciously thought about being tattooed when thinking about marking, which was a rather unpleasant memory in her mind.
Her complexion turned to the worse than she saw the chair was designed to hold down the patient. She eventually asked the ship with a strong urge to turn around and walk back to her room.
"What is this marking?"
"You received QDW in a rather unusual way; normally, this marking comes first, and if the patient survives, they can become special operatives."
"But because you already survived an even bigger danger, I am allowed to let it pass, but the marking must happen!"
Cyra sighed in relief as it seemed possible for her to break out if she didn't like the needle marking.
The machine first opened up her mouth, and by using a black ink like liquid, the mechanical arms tattooed her tongue with the symbol of QDW chained together into one letter.
This process had to be repeated several times as the strong acid kept corroding away the ink and the needles used during the process. Also, Cyra broke the arms several times when she felt it became way too uncomfortable. As such, it took much more time than it was originally planned.
On the other hand, it was rather painful; it wasn't rare for Cyra to bite of entire chunks of metal parts.
After each session, she had to drink H4C7; it was a substance that helped her body processing the metal components that were melted by the acid.
The process ended 5 hours later with a physically drained Cyra, the H4C7 did help her stomach processing the robotic parts, but it consumed most of her energy.
Returning to her place, she had barely any energy left, she slowly made her way towards her bed where her little lizard was waiting for her, and she slept until the next day afternoon.
When waking up, she saw that the lizard has become bigger yet again; it was constantly gaining fat from eating. Now it had problems walking around.
She was a bit worried about its eating habits, but in the end, Cyra let it be, seeing how happy it was during lunch.
After the feeding, she left once more towards the room where she was yesterday to continue her marking sessions.
This time, the symbol was directly printed on both of her eyes, but unlike her tongue, it remains invisible for the naked eye unless it is looked at by using specific lights.
As for the process, it was neither fast nor painful; it was simply uncomfortable to withstand. It just felt weird.
Once done with the treatment, Cyra stood up and started walking to her room, but on the way there, she fell backward and hit the ground as her long hair was caught up in a crack alongside the floor.
Her hair was equally strengthened with her body. It became almost impossible to cut it with normal means, and the other options were way too troublesome. She decided to let it stay long.
After carefully freeing herself from the crack, she continued onward towards her living quarters to sleep.
Her need for sleep came from the fact that she was mentally tired; by using force control, she held her self back, and even her brain was functioning at a slower speed as such, it was actually more harmful than good, but on the other hand, outside battle, the slowed downtime was extremely difficult and unnecessary during her marking and surgeries.
Cyra was puzzled why there was a need for so many tattoos, even her system was clueless as it knew a lot, but it wasn't possible to know every little ritual of every race.
The next marking session was the longest and most painful as she received another tattoo on her back. The issue was that the tattoo, similarly to her eyes, had to be reactive, meaning only visible using specific methods.
Her back tattoo only came out when a melody of the QDW race was played, but the tattoo's appearance brought even more pain as it had a purple glow thanks to her blood.
As for why it was painful? The ship wasn't using medical equipment for the marking; instead, it was done by heavy industrial mining machines as the medical lasers could no longer achieve anything.
And as much as it was an advanced ship, it still had difficulties dealing with cultivators in its current state.
After the marking ended, Cyra did her usual routine home; then, she appeared in the medical facility again the next day. Apparently, the ship wasn't done with her body augmentation. It just the marking was a requirement before finally finishing it.
Her next augmentation involved laying on a bed while a spinning machine slowly and carefully separated her hair, making it possible to reach the epidermis without any issues.
Then thousands of needles penetrated the epidermis injecting it with TS377.
The injection caused the epidermis to produce two additional building parts that could strengthen the hair.
The massive thermal shock caused Cyra to pass out immediately from the intense pain; she was actually lucky because from there, things just got worse.
The first new element that has appeared was a Titanium coating that started rapidly enveloping every part of the hair from it's beginning until it's ending.
As it became thicker and thicker, the second new element has also started getting produced. This was why she passed out as the coating wasn't done just yet, but the liquid nitrogen has also started pouring out without any intention to stop.
This augmentation was introduced to Cyra exactly because of her long hair; the coating is doubled layered in between the two sides, a thin layer of liquid nitrogen sitting on each strand of hair, the coating is relatively strong but in contact with sharp or spiky objects the first layer explodes causing serious frostbites to anything or anyone nearby.
Furthermore, the nitrogen-filled coating also granted Cyra invisibility regarding heat-sensitive people or sensor equipment. Her only weakness was sound related detection as reflection is how most of the work.
Additionally, her body becomes capable of entering a state of stasis, as hair could potentially grow all over her body if it becomes necessary.
If stasis activates, she will enter low-temperature freezing, also known as the cryonic state; during this state, her bodily function would slow down and enter a state of fake death.
On the other hand, this fake death is only temporary as it only slows down the motion of organic matter. When the body almost lived up more than 90 percent of its supplies, the fake death will be forcefully disturbed, and the subject would awaken.
Cyra's hair color nor looks were changed because the nitrogen was colorless even after being produced by her body.
Because of one acid sack, it became possible for Cyra to take in oxygen and nitrogen from the atmosphere just by breathing.
Because of the purple blood cells and the bone marrow, as it slowly accumulated during the past few days, the bone color gradually became pitch black.
After that, she returned to her room and went to bed early together with her little lizard. To her surprise, the lizard acted rather weirdly as it was way too intimate and showed affection towards her. For this, Cyra just kept cuddling with it. Maybe it was mating season, so she didn't think much about it.
The next morning Cyra was wakened up by the sound of moaning. At first, she thought that he controlled the bad body and was on his home planet, but she realized that it wasn't the case after looking around.
Then where did the moaning came from? She once again looked around much more carefully than looked down to her bed; there seemed to be something larger in with her; the first thing that came to her mind was that her little pet grown bigger once more.
Lifting her blanket, she was confronted by the sight of the naked Elizabeth, who was now staring back at her with an embarrassed face, then said, - "Hello." To Cyra, who was blankly staring at her.
She realized that the little lizard she was holding in her embrace turned into Elizabeth; what puzzled her even more than what was she doing while she wasn't here?
What was even more shocking is that she had horns, wings, and a tail and became similarly beautiful as Cyra.
[Congratulation Host for discovering a new Race: Succubus]
Say what now?!
[May I have a suggestion, Host?]
Sure, go on, tell me...
[I suggest Host turn on incognito...]
At this point, Cyra just felt like Crying because she had no idea what to do with her; it was a little understatement that she wasn't one bit interested in Elizabeth; well, she really only saw her as a little pet.
How did she become a lizard?
[Probably after the Host left, she started losing mass and became an animal. After reuniting, it entered a gathering stage where it kept eating until it reached the metamorphosis requirements and became a dragon succubus.]
"I'm going." Said Cyra as she picked up Elizabeth and put her to the side, then filled her plate with her favorite snacks. She liked it in lizard form. There shouldn't be that much of a change in taste.
But to her surprise, Elizabeth didn't let her go and instead climbed on her legs and held it steady while sitting on the floor, then she said, "No, you don't!"
"Hm?"
"You will stay with me!"
"No, I'm going. I have things to do.."
"Stay! Stay! Stay!" Each word became louder and scarier in tone as Elizabeth spoke. It seemed that she was a democratic dragon soo some personality changes would be unavailable in the end.
It was at this moment that Elizabeth truly awakened. As such, she also started remembering the pain and suffering that Cyra's leave has caused.
Everyone, including her friends and family, has died because they have left the Holy land. The goddess effects were no longer affecting her, and she was slowly but steadily was enveloped by rage and fury as she looked at Cyra.
The love and care that she felt moments ago were slowly overwhelmed by vengeance and burning hate.
The Goddess of Corruption title was useless outside the holy land; what originally forced her to follow her commands was useless, and she wanted to pay back Cyra for what she did to her. On the other hand, she had a hard time forgotten how she has taken care of her while she was a little lizard.
She suddenly lunched her self at Cyra and held her claws right above her heart - "Give me one reason why I shouldn't kill you right here and now! Cyra, Give me a good reason!" There was evident pain in her voice.
On the other hand, Cyra was both amused and surprised. On the one hand, there was no way she could take her seriously with such a low strength of [Int: 900] [Str: 900] [E:900] as for the surprise it came from Elizabeth mood swings because she truly had no idea what's going on anymore.
She couldn't help but ask - "What are you even talking about?"
You! You don't know? All the destruction and death you have caused, and yet you have the nerve to ask this from me!"
She was staring back at her without saying a word, waiting to see what she would do next.
"Do you really don't remember?! I thought I was important for you!"
"Your, my little lizard, of course, you're important; now stop throwing a fit and let me go. I have things to do.." Said Cyra as she gently pulled away from her claws."
At this point, Cyra started to get annoyed and was really considering breaking her limbs and walking away because she wasn't in the mood to play with her little pet.
In lizard form, Elizabeth wasn't able to talk could be considered a blessing as Cyra probably would have hurt her already or even killed her.
And just as it was expected, Elizabeth tried to stab her heart. Still, miserably failed and suffered from frostbites all over her arm as Cyra's hair released liquid nitrogen, then the gas that she directly breathes in caused her to feel dizzy and fall to the floor.
Seeing this, Cyra walked to her side and patted her head - "There, there, it would be best if you behave, or the next time I will kill you!" Said Cyra with a sweet loving smile, but this was eventually threatening, so Elizabeth momentarily backed away because she never hurt her like this.
By this, Elizabeth was scared to death, but out of fear for her life, she actually attacked Cyra, which resulted in her getting slammed into the wall; Cyra's body wasn't that much of a fan of attacks and acted out of instinct.
Seeing that her assassination attempt has failed, she took out a necklace and crushed it!
Even without her techniques, Cyra could have killed her on the spot without any difficulty, but her trembling reappearance stopped her from doing so.
"Why didn't you killed her?" Asked the ship as a hologram of it's appeared before Cyra.
"That's something that I also would love to know...!," Said Cyra as she was holding into her trembling arm.
System why I couldn't kill her also what's the cause of this trembling?
