"The first to obtain the sixth Path Of Power?" Alex was astonished.
"So what does it do? Asked Alex eager to understand his new power.
"For now we don't know," said Cain standing up. "But we will. First things first though. I think it's time for you to see your Sister, but first."
"Jasper, please come in," said Cain. Walking into the room was a man in his late 20's
"Hey Alex, nice to see you conscious for a change," said Jasper with a grin.
Alex was confused about Jaspers remark and looked at Cain for clarity.
"Jasper is the person who originally found you unconscious. If it wasn't for him you would probably be dead!"
Shocked, Alex outstretched his arm towards Jasper, shaking his hand in a sign of appreciation.
"Thank you, Mr Jasper. I owe you my life, someday I hope to repay the favour."
Jasper smiled in appreciation returning Alex's handshake.
"Don't be too grateful." Said Cain with a grin. Looking confused both Alex and Jasper looked at Cain.
"After Jasper saved your life I thought it would be appropriate to give him a reward. So Jasper, how would you like to become my apprentice?"
Jasper was shocked beyond belief. Cain was a member of the Council of Masters. Largely being recognised as one of, if not the most powerful practitioners of the Destruction Path.
"It would be my honour," said Jasper taking a knee. Nodding Cain looked at Jasper with a smile. "Good. Now, Alex, I remember you saying you glimpsed an image of the future. One where you was using a spear."
"Jasper, when you're not training with me, you will be training Alex in the use of a spear. Since this is your weapon of choice and considering the circumstance. This seems right."
"But first, go take Alex to see his sister before she kills us all."

One Hour Later
Cain was standing in a dark room surrounded by seven Holograms. "We would like to discuss your report Cain," said one of the fellow Masters.
"Of course." Said Cain suppressing a grin. "What would you like to discuss?"
Cain knew the council was going to try to steal his newest asset. Every headquarters would love to have someone with the newest Path of Power.
Unfortunately for them, he was a seasoned veteran in political warfare.
"We would like to discuss this Alex asset you have recently acquired. The one who has Awakended the Sixth Path of Power."
"What would you like to discuss?" Asked Cain knowingly.
"The council believes that the danger surrounding Alex is much to grave for him to stay in London." Said a small Female Elder.
To allow him to safely cultivate his Path, the Council had decided he should be relocated to my Branch in Washington DC.
With a sigh Cain rebutted. "why do you think a change of location will be any safer? According to the reports you can all see, this newfound enemy appears to have Tracking and Spacial Abilities."
"In my opinion moving the Asset is considered more dangerous. Or do you think the enemy is stupid enough to attack my compound directly?" Asked Cain
The council knew they were clutching at straws. Not only was Cain the Oldest Member of the council. He was also by far the most powerful in terms of offensive might.
"So based on the information we currently have and the fact Alex's whole life is based in London. I will be denying the Councils request for transfer."
The Council knew this would be the outcome when facing the old man but they believed they had to test their luck at least.
"While I have you all here. There is something of equal Importance I would like to discuss." Said Cain taking out some notes from his pocket.
"Based on my team's recent interaction with these mysterious enemies. We have concluded two separate abilities.
"The first as you all know is the ability to control Shadows. Having the power to make weapons and use a form of special powers."
"The user of this Power is considered to be at a similar level to a Division Leader. Extreme caution is advised when dealing with him."
Taking out a second set of paperwork Cain continued.
"The Second incident involved an individual who had the ability to hide his presence to an insane degree. It's quite possible he can become completely invisible."
"Indirect combat he seems to match a squadron leader but his real danger seems to be assassination and the fact the first Path can't detect him"
Just like Cain, the Council had never heard of abilities like these existing and agreed to set up a task force to investigate these mysterious people.

In a room close by Alex was having a meal with his sister. She was currently in the middle of giving him an earful.
"I know hazel but it all worked out in the end," said Alex defensively.
"You almost died, you idiot!!" Shouted Hazel. What do you think I would have done if you didn't make it? You need to realize your actions have consequences."
Feeling another pang of guilt, Alex tried to change the subject. "So how much do you know about what's going on?" asked Alex.
"Everything. This cute boy named Desmon filled me in." Said Hazel with a big smile. Thoroughly enjoying Alex's discomfort at the innuendo.
"So what are you going to do?" Asked Hazel looking worried. "Well, they've offered to train me and help to figure out my power. Said Alex.
Hazel was annoyed that Alex was about to drop out of University that that quickly but she knew Alex would rather be something special, than a simple psychologist.
Just when the mood started to sour, Jasper walked in. "Hey guys, sorry to interrupt but it's time for Alex's training." Looking for any excuse to leave Alex jumped up.
"Sorry Sis, we can pick this up later, said Alex running out of the room.
