Suddenly a hand came pulling Belle away from him and Alan could see that Belle was equally shocked as him when she felt an arm pulling her away....
Belle turned towards the hand who was pulling her away and saw Lee with a mischievous smile on his face.
"Hey! What are you doing?" Belle asked Lee obviously confused at his action.
"Alan can get a dance....and I can't?" was Lee's reply which left Alan with a frown on his face and Belle with a chuckle.
"Sure Mr. Lee!"
And then they danced for ten minutes, sat down and started chatting all while Alan was busy looking at them.... thinking god knows what!
All of a sudden there was a spotlight between the entire hall which caught everyone's attention.
There she was! The spotlight of the entire show... Drusilla.
Wearing a large black gown that exposed her cleavage and hugged her curves with minimal makeup on. She was indeed a natural beauty, everyone has to agree on that. Her hair left down in a princess braid highlighting her features. Almost everyone wore dark colors but this one was the one to be noticed.
There in a corner was a woman staring at the guy next to her and the guy staring at the woman in the spotlight. It was Belle and Lee.
It was clearly evident that Lee was still bound to her beauty even after all these long years and one could clearly see the love for her in his eyes. And Belle was exactly doing the same thing. Looking at his love for her which warmed and pained her heart as to why anyone could not understand such a sweet person like Lee.
"Ahem.....Done staring?" Belle asked in a teasing to tone to annoy the lad busy looking at his 'dream girl'
Caught staring at Drusilla and the secret known to Belle, Lee had no option but to agree!
With which Belle laughed saying,
"You know...if I was a guy... probably even I'd stare at her! I mean look at her! Dashing Devil!" which earned her a weird look from Lee who definitely was fed up with her stupid senseless talk. But he must agree what she said wa true.
And so the party went on and on with people staring at eachother and enjoying their time.
Well most definitely that would be Drusilla enjoying by recieving the attention she deserved that night. But she had her eyes set only for one....Alan Crimson!
So she went on with him to every business partner he met and introduced herself as his close friend.
Lee being busy with Belle didn't notice the time until Belle felt really sleepy that he decided to check what time it was.
It was 1:08 AM and he knew it was the longest Belle could stay awake.
Being concerned he told her to get back home and called Mr. John to pick the lady up. He wanted to personally drop her off till the exit but his plans were failed due to Liam wanting to introduce him to few others and bid her goodbye with a kiss on the cheek.
Notified Belle was on her way to the exit when she heard a familiar voice.....
"Well, Well, Well....if it isn't Miss Belle."
It was..... Drusilla!
"Well hello there!" Belle replied with a genuine smile on her face.
"Belle....you know I am not the type of person who likes to do the small talk and all...so let me come straight to the point!"
"You weren't here for the past 10 years and let me tell you those years were everyone's most happiest years lived.
You actually shouldn't have come back...you know..
I thought you have some dignity left in you after the hard rejection and expected you to never show up again.
But here you are, proving me that you're shameless.
And I know that you still are aiming for his heart...but don't forget that it only belongs to me!
