Upon Kany's quiet declaration, we all stood silently in the stone room. The only noise that echoed throughout the room was the occasional drip of water into the puddles on the ground.
Kany stared at the floor, her fists clenched and her shoulders raised.
"What do you mean, Kany?" Erana seemed incredibly concerned as she asked.
"Onii-san, do you remember when we first met?" Kany looked up at me. Her gaze was piercing, but it didn't seem hostile.
I exhaled and looked away. "How could I forget? You accused me of heinous things and I spent the night in jail because of it."
Kany took a step forward as she stamped her foot on the ground. "Not just that!" She shouted.
"You mean…" Tael butted in. "When you robbed the store Kenji worked at?"
Kany stole a glance at Tael before she quietly nodded. I'm confused, and by the looks of it, Erana and Tael are as well.
