The stone door to our room crumbled into a fine dust as a dwarven man stepped through. Though he couldn't be taller than Kany, his confidence made him seem larger than life. His beard scraped the floor as he walked and his clothing was made up of several interlocking plates of differing metals, each of which glinted a different color in the gem light. Each of his steps made an audible clinking noise as the metal touched against more metal. His eyes were dark and thin while his skin appeared rather pale, almost sickly. Despite this, he stepped towards both Tael and myself and looked us up and down. I could tell that he was assessing us simply by our looks.
"...Um." Tael began, but the dwarven man interrupted him quickly with a booming voice.
