While Erana and Kany went their own separate way, Tael and I also diverged. We had our own business to attend to away from the girls and plan to meet up with them at around eight tonight, so in this time we need to find a noble that we could meet with and interrogate or we need to find some way to speak with the nobility.
We're not spending the night at the castle since we've been effectively kicked out, so another order of business is for us to find a place to stay. We have more than enough money, so it's not as if we're worried about that, but it's still a bit frustrating that we're being forced to do so.
While we trudged along the stone ground through the grassy field of the noble quarters, Tael made no effort to hide his own frustration.
"You know what's stupid?" He asked.
"Everything?"
"EVERYTHING!" He threw his hands up into the air.
"Yep." I continued walking. "Let's just be happy that we're given a way out."
