Though we received more glares from people, we were guided towards the teleportation platforms and taken to the throne room once more. The pillars on the sides combined with the stained glass that depicted various scenes still impressed me with its design, but the fact that I'm now more of a prisoner than anything else makes this place seem like an intricate jail cell.
"Come. He is in a room over here." Ryujin walked to the left of the throne and opened a wooden door that was large enough to accommodate him. The four of us followed along reluctantly.
We were taken through what could be called a barren hallway. There was nothing here except flat stone and doorways to various rooms without windows.
"Treat this place as you would a church. This is an incredibly important place. You are being granted a privilege by even being allowed to set foot in here."
I grimaced, but made no comments. I don't need to voice my issues right now.
