The servants that had accompanied the both of us looked at each other awkwardly for a moment as if they were both asking "what do we do" to each other. I, too, was confused. Kenji-san having come into the room so suddenly and making a demand like that is rather odd, so their apprehension is warranted.
"Um…" Arex-san approached me. "Is this what you wish, Lady Erana? You are both honored guests, so we will abide by your wishes if you so choose, but if you do not wish for me to go-"
"It's fine." I interrupted. I gave a soft smile while I waved to him. "If Kenji-san needs to talk to me then he must have a good reason. He's not typically one to throw around frivolous things without a care."
The servant woman that accompanied Kenji-san listened in on what I had said. When Arex-san approached the woman, the two of them left the garden immediately, leaving only Kenji-san and I within the room.
