I want to get off of this God damn boat.
It's been two days since we departed from Ruks. The entire time hasn't been terrible, but we've just been sitting here with nothing but blue in every single direction. Yesterday at around six there was another ship off in the distance, but otherwise, it's been incredibly uneventful.
It's not like I want something crazy to happen. Onii-san said that "it's best for waters to be calm instead of troubled" which I assume is supposed to be a metaphor of some kind, but I have no idea where it's from. Maybe it's from some book from Earth or something, but trying to figure out if it was is an exercise in futility.
Erana has become fed up with helping the sailors. I think she finally realized that they were using her for free labor instead of just asking her to do things nicely. As a result of this sudden break-up, she is now sulking off in the corner near the entrance to the underbelly of the boat.
