I ran towards the hole that Kenji-san had fallen into. I screamed his name, but heard no response.
The Hell Guardian had already jumped down to follow him. I can't stop shaking. I need to go. I need to go right now!
I placed my hand on the edge only to feel someone grab onto my arm and pull me back. When I turned to see who it was, I noticed that it was General Meduso.
"Calm down!" He hissed.
"No! I need to help Kenji-san! He's hurt!" I struggled against his strength. I poured all of my power into my arm, but he is simply stronger than I am, so I could not wrest myself from his grasp.
"Jumping down there is a death sentence! If you go you die!"
"I-I can't just leave Kenji-san down there by himself!"
Kany appeared to my left.
