Jaq tossed my katana back into my hands while we watched over the collapsed body of the butcher. Tael and Kany both nudged it a few times to make sure it wasn't partaking in some act to catch us while we were unaware.
Honestly, that was a bit too easy. I thought that this thing would… I dunno, fight back harder? I suppose with the five of us ganging up on it like that it wouldn't be able to do much, but we still completely defeated it without any issue. It was almost laughable.
While I watched the body, Jaq made his way to Yuna and quickly broke her bindings. The leather straps that held her down were the first thing I saw in this prison aside from the people that weren't made of stone or metal. I can't help but feel as if this space didn't exist prior to the Demon King's occupation.
"Alright. We've taken down the mini-boss…" I crouched down and watched the butcher begin to burn away into dust just as every other monster I had defeated did before.
