The dawn arrived.
The sun that slowly rose began to leak into my window as my room started to light up. Color flooded the grey interior as my dwarven stone began to vibrate. I had set the alarm for five in the morning, so being woken up this early was only to be expected.
With a slow moving hand, I managed to grab onto my rock and click the top button, turning off the alarm as I roused. My eyelids feel heavy, but the reality of the world I am in quickly set in as I felt energy flood into me.
Today is the day.
My hairs stood on end as I slipped off of my bed onto my feet. The slowly growing light of the sun found its way into my eyes as I moved my hand to block it. I focused my hearing in order to find out if anyone was moving around, but I didn't hear anything. I'm probably the first person that's awake.
Since I'm the only person that's conscious in this house, I can take a bit of time to relax.
