We marched into Ruks with newfound energy in our feet. Erana, Kany, Tael, and I all led our respective groups across the drawbridge as we arrived back on the cobblestone roads. The people of the city either quietly watched us or ignored us entirely as we made our way towards the guild. Several adventurers split off from our groups as soon as we arrived in town, citing that they were going home or that they had to go to work. Out of the three hundred that had entered the city with us, only two hundred remained when we arrived at the guild itself.
When we stood before the four story tall building, I turned around and faced the adventurers that eagerly watched me.
"Speech!" Someone shouted. This was followed by several more shouts all demanding the same thing.
"Speech! Speech! Speech!" The crowd roared. I felt my legs tremble slightly as the world began to spin. My issue was exacerbated by Tael and Kany prodding me on the back as they tried to egg me on.
