Erana gave me a stern look as she slowly removed her hand from my face. Her eyes, as sharp as daggers, watched me in anticipation for what I would say.
If I'm asking about her past then…
"Why did you come to Ruks?"
Erana watched me for a moment before she looked away and stepped past me.
"I had to leave my home." She muttered as she turned down the street that our new home was on.
"H-Hey, wait!" I shouted as I ran to follow her.
"Why did you need to leave?" I reached my hand out for her as she stopped in place. My question seems to have struck a nerve.
Erana grabbed her left arm weakly as she looked towards the ground.
"I'd… rather not get into that right now." She whispered. This is the first time I've ever heard Erana say something like this. The chill I felt run down my spine was enough to shut my mouth harder than any other force.
