After I finished giving the explanation of our course of action, I walked towards the split in the hallway. With Erana to my right, I turned to Tael and placed my hand on his shoulder.
In order to give some reassurance, I decided to tell him one last thing.
"Remember, if you have any problems at all, use Mind Connection. I'll be there as fast as I can."
With this, Tael looked towards me and slowly nodded.
"Same to you. If you need us, we'll be there."
I appreciate that gesture, even if it's expected. It's nice to know he has my back.
I turned to face Erana.
"Let's go." I motioned as we began walking down the hallway to the right. We've already mostly carved our path out so going to the stairway to the basement should be no problem.
Just like that, we split ways. Tael and Kany disappeared in the distance as Erana and I continued to move forward. I hope that they can find the antidote without any problems.
