We stood quietly as four fifteen Westbrook street burned away nearby. Kany's family were firmly held by us as we stood before the guards.
"Don't make me do this, Kenji-san." Morris whispered. The plea in his eyes made me feel a twinge of pain, but I won't back down.
"Get out of my way."
At that, Morris reluctantly jut his hand out to the side. The guards that stood behind him began to surround us as they pointed their weapons towards us.
"In the name of justice, I will take you away." Morris drew his sword and pointed it at my face.
Anger.
I could feel it bubbling up inside of me. It was like something shoving against a wall that was about to break free. I tried to stifle my rage, but seeing his determination and his gall to point a weapon at me after all this time…
I clenched my fist and grit my teeth.
