I stared at our hostage. His nearly bald head and slight stubble shuddered as he shook in fear from me. His face, which was slightly bruised due to my punch from earlier, was pale.
I know quite a bit about interrogation tactics. When I had the chance, I would read about tactics that they used in questioning prisoners and how they would question prisoners of war.
I must admit, however, that my knowledge is all theoretical. I have never actually applied my questioning to a real subject.
Time to try it out.
"Okay…" I began as I cracked my knuckles. "First things first: How many people are in the Goto Gang?"
"A-Ah…" The man slowly moved away from me as he stared at my hands. The terror in his eyes was palpable.
"Hey hey…" I knelt down and grabbed his shoulder. "What did I say about answering my questions?"
"K-Kenji-san…" Erana muttered behind me.
