Kany led us down the streets of Ruks. We had left the pier as we stepped back into the jungle of buildings. The sun had risen to its peak at the top of the sky. It is now noon.

This is honestly a fairly scary situation. If they're willing to go after Kany's family, who knows what else they're capable of doing.
